Yeah that would be completely unpractical! A 1/6th scale bridge is doable but nothing more or it can not fit through most doors anymore! :lol

Do you have pics of your collection? I'm wondering how stuffed your house is.

Years ago a guy from one of the other forums built up a whole new Trek crew, unis, bridge, etc for a photostory, then dropped completely off the grid. Too bad actually.

The bridge itself will be huge:

If there are blueprints with all the measurements, with the right tools and materials, it shouldn't be too hard to build (this maybe my childlish thinking). I am going to make one of this for my ST figures. :banana

Thinking further, when I was in HK, I saw Grey Market Gundam model kits (originally only Bandai can make them). These model kits are made out of injection mold. A captain's chair "model" kit might not be hard to do. After all, looks like the chair can be built with cutout "blocks" and hidden connectors. HK and China have the technology and know-how in manufacturing any model kits.

Is this possible... a TOS Captain's Chair model kit with lights.... that individual can assemble it himself?

With enough people, maybe we can do something about this.

Think about this ladies and gentlemen! :duh

Can't help thinking about the "heads". The title of this thread should be changed to "Possible Props for 12" or 1/6 ST TOS action figures." :banghead

It might be possible yeah but not sure who would do that and how many people would be interested, I think about 10 of us would be interested and that would be streching it.

I am gonna look into making a captain's chair with wood and if I can get it to work properly I'd post the recipe but I am definitely not gonna bother with the lights lol.

Have FAITH...Have FAITH.

This Star Trek TOS project will work out well. I am sure!

Chris is just finishing up the House commission, so I think he should be getting some progress done on this one too. This commission started shortly after the House one did.

YOE NANJIN... There is blue prints ...there in the starfleet technical manual the manual was just recently republished.

Unfortunately that tech manual is inaccurate… My parents bought it for me back in the 70’s, I thought it was the coolest thing in the world back then but compared to modern knowledge of the screen used props it’s not that great.
