I'll admit that when I saw the first batch of photos I felt underwhelmed. That's just how the human mind works. It happens with most Predator figures I think. I remember the Berserker thread when he first showed up. You can't beat owning a figure and having it in hand, only then can you pass true judgement on the money you have just spent.

You have to look beyond the flash photography... You would think that people that have been here for a while would understand all that by now.

Suck in the pressure and use it to your advantage.

Well, i just nipped P1 outside to take this. Ignore the glare on the head

Picture is a bit shakey (had camera in one hand and cup of tea iun the other ) and i had to resize it as the original image is 3000x4000. But if it is sufficient then im sure i can do some OK Classic shots (i will be doing some out doors and in house shots of him too for different lighting (and flash + none flash... just cause')

It's a cheap 14MP Sony... I'm trying to shoot under fluorescent lighting.

Use a tripod, or a solid surface and the timer.

Or, get a turntable, tripod, and post a video.

Yep i do need a tripod. But i will probably hold off a bit (ive spent £500 in the last 24 hours on gadgets... and im unemployed so i cant afford to keep buying >_>)

Go figure. I've been defending this figure since the beginning but that little factoid I'm sure was ignored. Y'know that whole preset notions and ideas thing again.

Anyhow. Sorry to bring it all back again, just that post I quoted is a standout example of why this thread goes nuts every once in a while. You have to be one or the other for some reason.

to me too. i really envy the camera that can do such sharp and natural colored photos being kept in one hand without tripod or anything.

Just bought one of these from Taiwan. Obviously cost more than if i had of waited for them to be commonly released but i don't mind paying extra to get it a few months sooner as i had a few hundred £ spare floating in my paypal. (And i bought the Sideshow Classic Mask yesterday so it made sense to get them both in 1 swoop)

If there isnt a ton of pictures or any good ones by the time mine arrives ill do a bit of spamming. And what every body wants to see Classic-P1 side by side and a converted classic into a p1
