It's the guys who are completely anti-HT that might've complained about the prototype. I guess from now on as a rule of thumb, if you're tempted to bash a prototype because of its sculpt, stop yourself; HT will bash back in the paint department.
Couldn't decide whether I was joking or being serious there, so yeah...
I think the complaints are more from Facebook, where people just complain for no reason there.

Cool collection, RIDDICK!
Very funny
And it was only about your words that most of the complaints goes from Facebook posters and how stupid it sounds.
So nothing personal, I even have no FB page.
Yuck...the paint is the wrong colour and that shelf doesn't look like it did in the proto pic.
I've seen some rare and very detailed photos showing the mesh over the lenses. The photo Larja posted was obviously a preproduction photo, because it hasn't got the final shape or even the lasers fitted yet.
Well, once again...you're wrong.
The "mesh" you've seen in any of the photos of the lenses are a reflection of a diffuser over a lighting rig.
The lenses of the Predator mask are a smooth, mirror-like material.
Yes, some sculptors tend to use the mesh on the lenses...but it's wrong and not movie accurate.
Just figured I'd correct you before you go spouting off about something you, obviously, haven't done any research on.
So, is the Hot Toys mask right or wrong?
