Don't beat yourself up I would probably still buy it to. It really is a good special effect make up job and looks great, but I think everyone would prefer that they compress the exposed endoskeleton on his face to look more like it is really his skull. I feel the same principle can and has been applied to predators.

that is absolutely not the case my friend. you love predator and enjoy buying predator figures, so your ok in my book. I think a ot of HT predator collectors are just sick of people trashing hot toys figures because they don't go in the same artistic direction as Neca. Hot toys puts alot of consideration into all of there products and to say they purposefully neglect the sculpts is just stupid and silly to me.

I'm not sure that it has. I mean yes if we had gotten a completely movie accurate Classic Predator he'd be kinda short and fat looking which the figure isn't. Other things though I really think it is just a case of the sculptor either not having the same eye or flat-out just not really giving as much of a ___k as some people would like. The Berserker headsculpt for example - I'm not majorly in the know about Predator accuracy but even I can see that what HT did looks nothing like the film. I happen to think it looks better than the film in some ways but y'know who are HT to decide what would have looked better? The original creature designers made it as they felt it looked best and so thats what it should look like. I'm sure not everything was determined by the technology level but was a deliberate design choice and its not for HT to decide to mess around with that and do whatever they want. In principle, y'know. However, its moot after the fact. HT have done what they've done and you either buy it or don't. I buy it.

I agree with you on the berserker head the larger version to me just look more monstrous. I do think it needed to be shrunk a littler but they shrunk it ALOT!!! However, in order for the mask to fit properly on the figure and not look unusual in proportion to the body perhaps extensive shrinking was necessary. I feel that the film makers kind of screwed hot toys on that one b/c in the film that head was easily 50% larger than anything that could have fit into the helmet.

well lets limit this to sculpt. I personally don't see anything wrong with the HT berserkers paint and I definatley can't say Neca is winning in the paint apps department which they shouldn't even be expected to when compared to a high end product.

In fairness yes theres no way they could have put an accurate Berserker face underneath a removeable mask.

I kinda wished they had never shown his face in the movie coz it still has a resemblance of a turkey to me with those bad choice of colours red like that on a pred just dont do it for me, so i do wish they had a better face or just never took the bio off, Just my opinion
