I am just curious. because I am a Asian.
if you have a friend who runs business.
you are also a customer. let's just say.
in public, in korea. if it's about friend. you try
to speak to your friend directly rather than causing up
issues.
it's normally very common in korea. maybe in asia
is it different in usa? i have so many foreign friends for 20 years.
I am just 42 now. born in 1971.
i am not a kid. i have so much experinces in
business.
even if a friend did something mistake,
friend mean. telling him privately and advise him
to correct it well before he gets worse.
I have no personal feeling now. it's ok.
i am cool now.
but let me ask you.
pick one or any artist can produce like our work with
that price?
let me know. if yes.
i will lower the price for this.
i listened all suggestions and always try to fulfill
the demand.
the pricing issue on this and something making
misunderstanding on cs is different.
I honestly dont get it. what are you trying to say??
too expensive? why this is higher than normal

All I can say ... if you ever do this job figuring out
the cost and etc. you will know exactly and fully understand.
you know. I am doing all the modification in my
ability. even the red leather jacket fot T is almost
done. will show people.
it was impossible to buy yhat colored one.
what we did? we painted on fabric.
this is what i can do all. over that this. yhat would be
out of my ability.
i am pretty cool for feedbacks as usual
but like i said before. i liked you too much
and the words from you hurting.

because I learn things from this.

female characters takes a lot more time to

we are not finished. still working on real hair and
real metal. trying to solve this out
we cant afford spending thousands us for 1 metal mold
two swords = two molds.
how much should I charge? i will lose a lot
again like before.
metal molds : you must produce thousands.
otherwise, you dont do that.
but I didnt give up. still working on to make it happen.
and i believe our price is totally acceptible.
ask other custom artists please about it.

^^ denny, i am new to this thread, but the way i see is that i think everyone respects you and your work. Some can afford it some cannot and at least for some people like me the pain is not cause you are over charging its just cause its a bit unaffordable for me. (Which is not your problem, its my problem). I respect that and i still admire your work, infact i just saw some other custom threads and really speaking the two figures that raised my eyebrows from all customs where the fight club brad pitt yours and breaking bad travors. As far as you and that other kid's issues - I think we all wanna stay off that as its your and his personal matter and like u rightly said, if he is your friend he and u shld PM or call and resolve.
Cheers man! Drink a few cold ones its ur birthday. Remember 10 years down the line when you are world famous (well more world famous) what will matter is how we all reacted under this circumstance, it wont matter how and why..

Denny: i don't think it has to do with where you're from (Asian, American, Mexican, etc). I think it has to do with how you were raised and educated. Also, I see the word friend thrown around here like it's nothing. I just had somebody from these boards who I considered a friend, betray me and lie about me. I'm even more careful now with people and it sure takes a lot for me to call someone a friend. A few pms and messages in the internet will not make me consider someone a friend, especially if they want something from me. In the position that you are right now, lots of people want stuff from you. Kind of like a celebrity with an entourage of "friends". You just got to be careful and be able to distinguish.
Regarding your prices, only you know what's better for your business and at the end, we decide wether to purchase or not, wether we can afford it or not. But yeah, there will always be some pushing and pulling to get the best prices and product, especially if you are open to communication, so i guess you need to learn to deal with that without feeling hurt. Just my 2 cents.

About our custom work.
Anything you want to give your feedback, Wake always take care of this instead of me, I talk with him everyday, he always suggest things as collector, and I am so good for that, but I tell wake, this can be possible or cannot be possible in my ability.
there are always limit regarding with budget, you can't really spend 100 for 60 or 70 if this is not charity purpose.
Many of our previous works, we gained our confidence and I am happy about it although for business, it was bad profit lol.
I am honestly saying it. so....now I will take what I have to take for the work and will work hard as usual, I know what people are expecting on us and we will work on that.
getting better and better if possible, maybe some works could fail...from time to time. but we wont give up.
Wake is a good person and very trusted. so many suggestions..(I am sure you know him...as a collector)
but now I always think about what we can do....and I am setting up for options...for people who want better accessories and quality.
Let's break this, I will not delete this and let me work on project rather than this kind of things that I can't afford.

I couldn't finish replying back to them...(I am in bad condition for my teeth.....dentist will pull it out;;;;it's that bad..and hurt.)
I guess....I spent too much hours watching breaking bad...I started season 1 and finished season 5 in few days....
I had to watch all before I plan things...that's my passion.
so..my immune sytem got very weak and I got some very bad things under the root of a teeth. caused bad thing...
sad~!!!
I can't drink for weeks..I guess....lol.
fresh it out and Mike, let's forget about it.....It will be to stressful to argue with you, and you will feel same I am sure.

come on the sword has to be metal, it is a no brainer. Or to look like it was, even in the playtoy kit, it looks better. Considering prices, I hate to be told I should be happy because there is a price increase (even for shipping) which means quality increases too.. Don't be like this please, we are not buying food here... And I paid for 2 figures shipped for almost $1000. That's honnest, but if it is $1200 next, I'm out. I'm still waiting the cowboy btw, so it's seems you have time to play with our money too!
To be honest, for now I had a few figures from Iminime, it is far from Rainman's level at all points, especially clothes and body. So maybe figures we'll get in the next months we'll be better than RM I don't know, but for now don't talk about this to justify prices please. If people buy, it's that they trust you. That's the only thing.

If people can't be more polite in how they voice their concerns, I personally would ignore them. Especially when you have already gone to great lengths to explain your pricing. You even signalled after the Skipper release that your prices would have to increase to cover your costs.
I'm not suggesting that people should remain silent if they have questions or concerns about your products. But I think many people take it for granted that you have made yourself personally accessible through your participation on this board, which is a rare privilege.

I would like for you to keep posting here - with updates and things you'd like to draw our attention to - but it's clear that you have difficulty with the tone of many posts. I'm sorry that your experience with this board has been such a downer. Talking about action figures should be fun.
Demon, Butler, Tony Soprano, and Bateman. I wish I didn't miss TWD figures though!
I think Demon was $350 (shipped?) The bride is now $430 + shipping.
You know Rainman's prices, a FS used to be $650 and is now $800-850. But H+C was $350. Considering bodies you use, I guess many people change the body which is extra cost. H+C is $500 now with Rainman. I have the same speech regarding Rainman's prices. But I know what I buy, when I'll get it, and also how limited it is. That's a huge difference whitout talking about the figure I receive. I think you can do better than Rainman anyway. But to me, you are more between an artist work and a company production.
I'm waiting on Cowboy, and Kill Bill figures, they are my greatest expectations. Judging by the pictures, quality is there. I'm just waiting to see it! Not trying to be offensive, it is just what it is now. I never pay for something I get 8 months later. But if I want to get your stuff I have to!
