I agree with Jacklyn, the egg next to the chap as in a museum. Thanks good the made a small base because like this I can display it in my vitrine...good Idea too python the plugd for the ones who don’t want to display the wall behibd..it is not my case but nice to have the option...
And thanks again blade to show us how it will look the chap+the egg together:)

I personally think the Big chap is plenty enough, it doesn't need too much extra stuff busying it up, especially in this scale. Like Blade said above, maybe a few wires or tools at most, maybe a little bit of shed skin or something. They went the opposite direction with their Warrior and it looks a bit of a mess imo. I'd have gone even further with the simplicity of the big chap and not even had the wall. Your mock up highlights just how much better the wall not being there shows of the sculpt and pose. I actually like the action pose more now seeing it like that. Some plugs for the holes would be a nice little option for the price they want for this, especially given how many people suggested from day one that they would have preferred it not to be there.

Well evidently the wall is optional. You can remove it.
Tbh their warrior is not that busy. You have the egg and the back wall. On my Dog I have an egg and it also has the back wall. I wasn't going for the deluxe on the warrior just because it is an extra 500 altogether with extra shipping for the dx. I think both the chap and warrior in hand are going to to have same reaction as the dog did. The dog didn't sell out till about 3 months after people got it in hand, now it is more than double the dx cost just for the regular one. I'm excited to have all 3 side by side. Chap next though.

I thought yall would appreciate this picture, it is a very rare picture of the big chap with the rambaldi mechanism head. I had never seen this image before though thought it was pretty amazing. received_178412753871774.jpeg

Actually, I read somewhere that it was a different mechanised head made in England, but never used. Not sure if that is true or not, but I don't think the Rambaldi head could be worn.

Yeah, I only discovered that site a few months ago, it's got a lot of photos and behind the scenes info that I'd never come across before.

Thanks for the link. It looks less bug like (more monster/human hybrid, kind of similar to the predator with it's humanoid physique). Looks very imposing and intimidating.

Also saw a tab labelled 'Alien 5'. Probably only a teaser, though it would be awesome if they did do a 5.

They probably wouldn't add it to the series. There would need to be elements of Resurrection if so and that's like box office poison hlol, I'm still surprised they haven't done isolation.

There's some really cool photos of Roger Dicken's (who ended up doing the chestburster and face-hugger) work on the "big chap". I had read in "Giger's Alien" book about it, but had never seen any pics.

It's really amazing to see how much work goes into these movies before they finally get it right.
I do love how Dicken's really went for the *******-like head of the original Necronom IV painting.

I have Gigers diary that has some pretty rare pictures and Polaroids.

Not our figure but the bust... whst do you think??
It looks really amazing! Can’t wait to see the 1/3 scale!!

I actually think it looks very similar to the prototype. So that is good, I was concerned with the teeth not being chromed but the mount prototype didn't have them chromed. The 1/3 does, so let's hope we get as good of a prototype replica like they did with the Dog/Ox.

Your concern is my concern too about chroned teeth...hope they will be chromed. With the prize of the figure they should be done like this...
About the bust it self, it looks reslly awesome to me. I like the paintjob and details and I’m sure that it is really impresive in person. Can’t wait for our figure:)
