"Bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, the crew of the colony ship Covenant discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world - whose sole inhabitant is the ‘synthetic’ David (Michael Fassbender), survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition."
Odd looking creatures. Hard to make out any of the fine details.
Visuals are very nice, and I don't mind the ending, of course it was sequel bait.
But stuff like science guys acting against scientific curiosity or just common sense is what I mean by lack of attention to detail, which aren't really just details
I never got into any debates about it, is there any rationalization or analysis about the map stuff, the snake stuff and other things of the sort?
Saw it, even posted it myself in the thread back then IIRC.All that is in the deleted scenes. Comic book girl 19 did an epic breakdown.
I get all that, it's pretty much ancient astronaut and Zechariah Stitchin stuff infused with Giger visuals. She also spoke about the original script, which sounded great and would have been much more popular with general audiences. What made Prometheus really intriguing was all the big philosophical questions. Which wasn't there in the first draft of the script

Nothing that really fixes the issues, I was hoping for some geek's analysis that tried to make sense of that stuff.
