To be fair the angle of the painted pic that was posted wasn't one where the likeness would jump out, it was basically the worst angle to judge that from, I wasn't blown away but was not expecting to be either, I think in a straightforward fashion we'd be able to see the adjustments made a difference.

whats the matter i cant have an opinion? only you i suppose. i read all of your dribble all the time. maybe i need to disect your posts. and god knows you dont have to go far to find them. but i do give you credit for admitting a little.:wink1:

Its alright man :1-1:

Not trying to insult anybody, just pointing out that we shouldn't be so drastic and think things have changed forever.

I wouldn't take it that far. Thats my opinion on your opinion :lecture

That's true Ray. Hopefully when these start coming in people can take a few better front angle shots. That may definitely show a difference.

It's just another Wednesday on the Freaks board, usual banter, I've seen much worse and all the arguments where totally on topic, I think as mentioned by someone else, I think it was Raymond that said even though the discussions are heated at times and we all don't see eye to eye, there is that mutual respect here that I think we all have for each other. You can't have a good conversation or discussion without exercising the views on all sides so I just sum it all to that at the end of the day, we are all passionate about this hobby we wouldn't be here otherwise.

That painted sculpt seems to be the older sculpt before tweaks, the cheek line doesn't go straight down like Rainman's modify picture shows

I totally agree, none of that banter made me loose any respect for any one member here. The truth is everyone brings up very credible points to every side of the story, even if you don't agree you can see the logic.

I mean, a bunch of guys who can afford to buy 800 dollar figures should be a dedicated mature bunch. Either that or all equally as insane as the next one!

:monkey3 :lol

Since Wonka was just mentioned above, the whole argument about private commissions and them costing around $5000 got me thinking that the DX Wonka is definitely close to that price now. I mean, very few were made and no one is letting them go. Not even at the last sold amount of $3000. Crazy stuff!

Anyway, I'm really happy with that last picture of Jules. Can't wait!

Not sure if people noticed or if I'm wrong but the latest pic appears to be the original sculpt... Not that I care I liked it even before tweaks were suggested but not sure why people think its different in that photo? Just look at the cheek lines.

If anyone even wants to sell the DX Wonka, you know where I am! :lol That Jules does seem to be the old sculpt. Well spotted man!

I did think that might be the case. Could be this is Aeon's head that was posted on the website though, and not a newly painted sculpt going out to collectors. Would be odd if they were moving on with the unmodified sculpt after he went to all the effort of modifying it.

Looks to me to be the one posted on his site. I would assume that this is a pic of her prototype paint. The rolling line on the bottom lip looks to be the same as on his site.
