Its pretty deppressing that the wallet font issue was not addressed after we were told that it would be made better especially when this was the special item for the fullset. I need to contact Rainman because the footpegs are apparently glued in place and mine were glued wrong so my figure cant stand on its own, theres excess glue on my tie.......

So I guesd what im getting at is how do we get in contact with Rainman since hes too UPSET to communicate with us, because honestly Id like either an exchange or my money back.

Sorry but I just couldnt keep it to myself anylonger.

That whole upset thing is a bit ridicuous IMO. You pay a lot of money and deserve the best figure made for that price.
He should come here and listen to critics, bad or good. No reason to be uspet or sad :dunno

The shoes thing seems pretty inexcusable to me. Was it really so hard to work with Enterbay's ankle pegs that he had to resort to cheap PVC shoes? That's one thing I've hated about Iminime releases.

These two should never have been tackled by rainman.

His lack of interest in them and the overall rushed nature is evident throughout.

These high end customs should not be happening if the LOGISTICS are not properly scheduled with regard to the use of proper machinery, fabric sourcing, sculpting, body types, modification, metal work etc. If all these things are not scheduled properly than certain characters should wait until it's the right time where these business resources are available. Rainman is a great talent but his business methods and advancements are certainly not growing as the standard for others to follow. I'm quite upset about this, precisely because it doesnt feel like a Rainman piece.

Here's a couple quick shots I did this morn.

Forgot to say great shots Magnus I'm really struggling to get past those shoes though. They stick out like a sore thumb! They have no place being on that figure...

Thanks man. The more I'm looking at these pics, the more I'm thinking that might be the only thing I'll change. The body looks fine in them. Just didn't have much time to play with him. .

I will say the SJ likness is more promenant in person. Just doesn't show up well in the pics. Overall I'm happy with my set. I'm sorry everyone's not feeling this.

Mike, no more pats on the back man. Lets get these communication channels rolling right. Its not even about achieving amazing likeness as much as it is about the Quality Control of these things. I felt disrespected when I opened that box.

Look at the gun, the lines "ridge" near the chamber aren't even straight. The shoes are the ultimate slap.

I feel like I have paid close to $900 for a subpar Iminime figure. No disrespect to Iminime, but you know what your getting with them. You know there is a fair chance you gotta swap a fair but out to make it shine. If I am paying close to $900 for a figure, I don't want to swap anything out! Sick right now!

Iminime to their credit have not only fixed the crappy shoes issues, but now thanks to 3D printing tech have top notch accessories as evidenced with the Bateman.

RE: PVC shoes on a rainman fig. THIS is disappointing. Seriously? The ACI black dress shoes are so good i've bought like 12 pairs. They even have soles that are painted and real laces. They cost $9 and are widely available. I can't imagine Rainman is so a) interested in profit so much that he wouldnt spend it on those shoes for every set, b) lazy enough to not find a workable solution. Sigh.

Well, it's a good thing i have 4 pairs ACI shoes left.

Again, this is changing! :lecture Im not sure Bateman requires ANY swapping at all.

Those ACI shoes are great but I already have multiple pairs of them on figures already so gonna go with something a little different for Jules. I'm still in shock tbh he even came with them tbh.

Everyone is in such a damn rush to get all these characters made that its completely watered down the high end portion of the hobby.

We went from satin lined boxes to plastic PVC shoes....:slap

I find myself disagreeing with a lot of what you say Turbo, but I've gotta say that this is pretty freakin funny (and sad) :lol

Saving grace for me here is I got the head/outfit set. So essentially, I'm paying around Iminime prices for these, and in that sense I'm no more bummed than I was with some of the issues with Lector. Rainman did say the shoes were PVC in the product listing, but that didn't register with me. I just assumed these would be the quality sculpted shoes he usually provides.

And Wake, I was glad to see that with Bateman. Hopefully he'll stick with it for future releases.

Damn guys. Sorry to hear the bad news coming out.

RM needs to tough up a little and take constructive criticism better. Everyone is afforded slip ups, but you have to listen to your customers to keep moving forward. Hopefully, we will see a great release with the taxi driver.

I think you just like to scapegoat people for your own entertainment, so I'm not going to have a back and forth with you. Leave me out of your personal opinions and your "snotnose" remarks. I'm genuinly disatisfied with how this turned out for $800 bucks. You on the other hand always have an opinion on things that you arent directly involved with, like the fact that you didn't spend $800 on a fullset but actually have somthing to say about it.

I wasn't trying to get into it with you turbo, but I'm a Rainman customer and so I have as much of a right to comment on releases as anyone else. Rainman sells clothing/head sets (which I frequently buy) and full sets. Full set/DX buyers aren't the only ones who can comment. If you're talking "snotnose" as in acting like a petulant child, I'm not the one acting like an entitled brat with all the Rainman releases.

Then comment on his release. Not me. But do us all a favor and talk about what you know about. If you don't have a fullset in your possesion than back up and let me have my say.
