I know you were lobbying for that from the beginning, but the unknown here was how the suit, presumably tailored to the MIB body, was going to work with the Truetype. Looks like it works, and based on the few shots we've seen thus far, works better than other options even with that suit done as it was.

Nice photos Ed. What would the old wide shoulder body translate to in terms of recent more available body types? Are any of the new True Types anywhere close?

They are basically the TTM10/14/18 but with beefier shoulders. Sounds like there are other equivalents to the 01 as Comm mentioned but I'm not hip to them.

If anyone knows ones aside from the original Joker and POTC Feng post them up! I'm sure people will be on the hunt.

I'm lucky enough to have an 01 MIB. They all come in handy sooner or later

Vareika: Pop just responded accurately. There are other early figures that came with that body, I just can't remember them. None of the newer true types have shoulders as wide as these early bodies. To be honest, those shoulders were way too wide, very unnatural for most characters, which is maybe why they discontinued them. It seems to work fine for Jules, though, especially since Rainman made the suit to fit the Enterbay body which is bigger than a standard Hot Toys true type.

I think these look fantastic, and rm did a great job on these. 2 men in a suit is usauly one boring figure. And black suits no less. But these will look cool once done.

IDK if everyone should start jumping all over these immediately before we see some more pics and other people try some more body options, but thus far what Comm did looks good. These are the same body that he used.

Here's a couple of Feng's on the cheap. Considering that the average narrow runs in the $80-$130 range this doesn't seem so bad. Maybe someone could make use of the extra parts or just off them:

But no, I thought the Agent J body was a bad idea from the get-go.

I still stand by the idea of the best choice being the AA KO narrow on long pegs.

My main issue was it was gonna be hard to body swap and fill the suit properly if it was made to fit the J body. It's a bit wider and bigger overall than it would've been if tailored to the KO but that's the suit that we have now so we'll have to work with it. I was worried that there would've been no alternatives but Comm's pics are giving me hope. At least we know we have options and we're not stuck

Looking at the proto shots on his site I'd just presumed they where sculpted much like Vince's just a different style. Now you mention it though they do look a bit strange in some of the in hand pics. Anybody care to comment? Please tell me we ain't got a pair of $6 eBay shoes on this guy!

There's no excuse for them being anything other than hand sculpted and painted just like Vince's. I ain't got my set in hand yet so can't comment fully. I'll wait to see what arrives but if there off the peg 1/6th black shoes I won't be happy.

It might be because of the way the feet pegs on the EB body isnt compatible with HT, hence the plastic shoes?

Rainman said this body proved to be a nightmare from the start but did the best with what he was working with. He didnt want to disappoint his customers with cheap knock offs. Anyone remember that argument? So hes damned if he does, damned if he don't.

Honestly, I'm not 100% happy with Julie out the box but I see the potential. A body change is gonna be necessary. Cause as of now out the box I feel like he has no neck. Plus I'm not digging the poseability of this body at all. But I'm digging Ed's pics so I know there's hope. I'm reserving my full review till I have him where i want him.

I'm sorry man but this excuse doesn't wash with me at all. I paid close to $900 for this figure he should have worked something out with sculpted shoes like all his other releases. Should have sculpted shoes and adapted them to work with the EB body, if he couldn't he should have scraped the Agent J bodies and found something else. I ain't even got this guy in hand yet already I gotta think about changing out the body and shoes. Madness

Its pretty deppressing that the wallet font issue was not addressed after we were told that it would be made better especially when this was the special item for the fullset....THE WORDING IS NOT EVEN LEGIBLE. I need to contact Rainman because the footpegs are apparently glued in place and mine were glued wrong so my figure cant stand on its own, theres excess glue on my tie, the quality control on this figure is horrible and I dont see any improvement of the sculpt, it actually feels like a rubbery material not a fragile quality resin like Anton or Bill.
So I guesd what im getting at is how do we get in contact with Rainman since hes too UPSET to communicate with us, because honestly Id like either an exchange or my money back.

Sorry but I just couldnt keep it to myself anylonger.
