I didn't say the figure is bad. But the sculpt need to be reworked. Wallet shouldn't be an extra accessory.
Judging by the pictures, I think Vincent looks awesome but for the price we could have hoped for better accessories. Now is the time for Rainman to "make it up" by making a home run, without flaws Jules. Making Jules the weak piece of this pair is a fail imo.

Well I want the fullset because I had a nightmare putting Vince together and futzing it properly and I have a feeling it will be equally as frustrating with Jules.
Yeah I'm happy enough with the figure, it could be better, but unless Rainman recalls it and fixes the sculpt, (which I would think it is unlikely considering people have started buying it) it's as good as it is gonna get.

Any words from the man himself? Any plans to make changes? I would say give the sculpt more time....it looks rushed
Guys Rainman responded to me, I still HIGHLY encourage you writing him to voice your complaints, English is not his first language so he doesn't read the forums as much as Denny does so he's not going to see these posts.
He is however going to come here to address the concerns but in a Nutshell this is what he told me.
1. He says his hand were tied with the black Enterbay bodies because there are no current good looking black bodies on the Internet and that he would have felt even if he used a hot toys body people would have complained about height because Jules is taller.
My argument is not THAT much taller however he said he'd think of a way to maybe shorten it but did not sound optimistic I'm gonna see of there's an easy way with the spare I have to see if I can help him
2. He says that narrarator was three years ago and cost for materials have gone up and since Vincent did not have Many accessories he had to remain consistent. He says that he wonders why people complain when milkshake man only had one accessory. Anyways basically we ain't getting a case guys (unless we ALL email him, seriously).
But didn't he have an extra head?? Just sayin
3. He said he agrees with me on the eyes and changes to the sculpt can still be made and he will try (BIGGEST win here as this was my prime concern)
Thought I'd share, discuss!

If hes doing tweaks on the sculpt and shows pic before opening PO, and include the briefcase, then im in again. But my question is, is he gonna close the PO and re open again later?
I think the accesories shouldnt depend on vince though. It should be based on relevancy. And the briefcase is an important item for them. I thought his problem just now was that it will use metal parts and factories are all closed?

I ordered Jules. I'm sticking this one out
Let me reiterate this. He is not planing on including more accessories or addressing the height, it will not happen unless YOU email him and let him know your thoughts. One or two people reaching out can and will not make a difference, don't take for granted this release will be any better than it is now as there is no gaurontee.
I think at this point, anything you say is kinda premature unless its affecting the PO on the 20th.
But my point is that there will be no affecting of the PO unless he knows we have issues, but he doesn't. Only you and I to my knowledge reached out to him. You're right that multiple messages will go further than just one or two emails.
I really believe he should make the alterations before the PO as well.

Thats my point, not many people seem affected to care enough to email him, if its just you and me that emailed him. Or it could be that they read the response you posted, and dont want to get on his bad side by emailing him. And as far as I know, theres at least a few VIPs that have sold or have decided to give up on collecting PF series, and moved on to the Taxi Driver figure instead, so they might not be sending the emails too.

I'm with ya Ray. I'm going to drop my views on him as well; I just need to go hit Starbucks first to get my creative juices flowing
. It's important that we word our opinions to him properly.I'm not sure why he said that Plainview had 1 accessory; he had 4! Gun, flaming stick, pipe & bowling ball
. That's another release that probably could've been handled differently (not talking about outfit choice) but that's another story. At least it came with 4 sculpted & painted accessories that showed his skill!And I don't agree with the” I skimped on Vincent so I have to skimp on Jules to make him even” standpoint. . It should've been quite the opposite! I have to believe that 95% if not 100% of the people who bought Vince planned on getting Jules. If Vince ended up getting skimped then Jules should've been beefed up to balance it. This way we all get balance; we get the duo with all necessary accessories for the current standard price of 2 full sets and his profit margin will average out to be the norm. He'd make more on Vince and less on Jules but it would average out... for all of us.
You could be right, though its cowardly to not voice you're opinions directly to the man and complain on the forum I can see a few taking that approach.
Though I was honest and respectful to Rainman and offered as much praise as I did concern, and I thanked him. If I were Rainman I'd certainly appreciate that over reading negative bashing on a forum.
But at the end of the day of you don't voice your opinion and share your concerns and try and do something about it directly you don't have a right to complain about the outcome IMO. You can quietly bow out of the release like guys like Teddy and Turbo are doing and frankly that's about it.

and you you are right wording very carefully is very important and don't be shy about the compliments either that will go a long way to not offending him, the way i look at it is they are well worth it anyways as I have so much respect for Rainman what he's done for me personally and the goods he's made for us.Rainman has done a lot for me especially with awarding me the Anton and replacing it when it got lost, but I didn't shy out if telling him what I thought because of that. at the end of the day this is still an artist passionate about his craft.

I gotta say this also, in no way are the comments meant to disrespect rainman. I have been a fan of his work, and have talked occasionally with him, the man is a scholar and a gentleman, who have utmost care for his fans / customers that I have ever seen on an artist.
I really do hope he gives a good solution - he always have come through whenever issues like this arises.
I thought Teddy is getting this as well, had no idea he wants out?
