Re: Rainmans New Project: 'No Country Killer'

Hasselhoff is dead:horror why the humanity?

real hoff died right after baywatch ended. the current one is a doppelhoffer, an android created by the mcdonalds corporation to subliminally sell more burgers to drunk people.

my foil helmet is coming loose... i'll be right back.

Re: Rainmans New Project: 'No Country Killer'

I say lets not rush, Rainman.

With the recent subpar sculpts he did with iminime, I'd rather wait for him to show something when he's ready.

Re: Rainmans New Project: 'No Country Killer'

which ones did you feel were subpar? i thought the mr anderson was stellar. as is the Ras. IMO

Re: Rainmans New Project: 'No Country Killer'

thought he directed it, so to speak. i didnt thnk he was actually sculpting any of the iminime HS.

Re: Rainmans New Project: 'No Country Killer'

He also sculpted Black Jack didn't he? The sculpt for it turned out excellent. The rest...not so much.

:exactly::lecture:clap:clap:clap:clap:clap

The tailoring on some of the recent releases also feel a bit rushed. Hope the Anton likeness is an easier one for Rainman to catch. Hoping for one of those figures where pictures and inhand are equally amazing.

Re: Rainmans New Project: 'No Country Killer'

I agree DM, that's why I prefer to focus my time, energy and resources on slowly assembling, improving on, or acquiring only (what I see as) perfect representations of my absolute favorite television and film characters. :rock But hey, everyone has different collecting habits/views.

I have to ask your opinion though (and everyone commenting on market value), what's your take on this scenario? Say I want to sell my Rainman Dude figure (not going to happen)...I've had him since release, quite some time now, and in that time he has gone for several thousand dollars. If I needed to sell him for whatever reason (my interests have changed, I need the money etc.), would I be expected to ignore his apparent market value, and sell him at his original price tag, to avoid being considered a 'flipper?'

Had to wade through all the posts I missed in the last day. Gotta love the craziness in the Rainman threads! You guys made my day! :lol As for the market value on The Dude I think its pretty much set at $2000 after Deckard's sale. Now is that what you'll get if or when trying to sell. Not really but it should stand as a benchmark for the future worth of the piece. Its definitely a figure worthy of the value.

Is this considered "flipping" I think not. Flipping would go more in the way of the the Rhas Al Gul guy from this week for example. Asking triple the value for something that has a pretty decent edition size and hasnt even been around long enough to even warrant the high price. Definitely not cool but at the same time he can ask whatever he wants for it. It's his. Just doesn't mean he'll get it.

Now can we get an Anton teaser please! :panic:

I believe he directs most things that Iminime does. But he himself sculpted Ra's and his accessories, Alfred and Tony.

And if anyone is selling a Dude full set for less then $2k, hit me

I wonder if it's possible to machine the silencer in metal 1/6. I hope Rainman's able to catch the sheen and those grooves on it,
