Two brothers that control a sex trafficking ring. They're not a cartel, like the reviews call it. Rambo goes into one of the brother's house, kills everyone with his knife silently, and then cuts the brother's head off. As he's heading back to Arizona he throws the guy's head and it lands on the road. He leaves a photo in the guy's house of his nice so that the other brother knows who did it. They had his ID, so they knew where he lived. Rambo uses his bow and pins the other brother to a wall with arrows, then walks up to him and stabs him on the chest with his new knife, slowly cuts him open, then sticks his hand into his chest and rips his heart out. There were lots of heart references through out the movie.

Just covering the evidence...

But that sounds pretty good.

I wonder how this will play out: #metoo vengeance vs toxic masculinity...?

I edited the post with spoilers.

Anyway, in a way Rambo is more or less as ruthless as the Rambo from the original novel. He even threatened to torture and kill a young girl if she didn't follow his instructions, and you could tell he wasn't bluffing either. :lol

Don't forget racist and culturally insensitive. Many reviews are calling it racist and a movie for the "MAGA" people. :dunno

I don't see how the depiction of Mexico or Mexicans in this film is any different than Sicario and Sicario 2. Hell, even Breaking Bad, but they always have to insert politics when it come to Rambo reviews. Rolling Stone wrote an article calling Rambo a Regan era hero for the MAGA generation. :slap WTF does any of that have to do with sex trafficking, which is a HUGE problem in Mexico, along with crime and drugs. Just because the movie doesn't show the good parts of Mexico, it doesn't mean that the depiction of the bad parts are not accurate.

I agree... but at the same time Rambo definitely is and always has been a 'conservative' blue collar all-American hero. He does play right into its modern metamorphosis of the MAGA crowd. So is Dirty Harry. Hell, Forrest Gump is a total Republican hero if you think about it for two seconds.

Well, there is a scene where Rambo wears a red cap and shouts with a clenched fist, "I am the wall!!!" :monkey3

Saw this movie last night, and THOROUGHLY enjoyed it! The critics on RT making a political big deal out of it are absolutely PATHETIC

I saw it and thoroughly enjoyed it as well. Exactly what you'd expect and want from a Rambo film.

I enjoyed it too. My only objection comes from a filmmaking stand point. The tv quality, amateurish cinematography and editing is what infuriates me as a fan of the franchise. I'm offended to be honest, to see what has become of my beloved Rambo. :(

Yup that?s something actually worth being offended about.

How about Indy and Cap?

Cap and Rambo have a lot in common. Wasn't the whole point of TWS that Cap not trusting the established order and his own people were the bad guys. That was kind of like FB part 2. Rambo was betrayed by his own country and couldn't trust anyone other than Trautman.

Yep! Ridiculous!

I forgot that any kind of Patriotism and wanting to keep Sovereignty for your own country that you live and were born in is Racist and Bigoted...

Totally. The Reagan era 80's is chuck full of conservative hero icons.

Top Gun's on tv right now -- is there a movie more glorified Republican than that?

We need some movies that teach the morons and the ignorant today that we are not a Democracy, but a Republic, a Constitutional Republic.

I have a friend that keeps calling this movie Taken 4. Says its a Liam Neeson movie but he was busy so they threw Rambo in there instead. After smacking him a couple times I decided I will be seeing it Wednesday with my father. Grew up watching the old movies with him all the time so I figured it would be cool to take the old man to see it.
