ISTD is excellent, I think it beats out Se7en.

That was my first viewing of Oldboy BTW, I dragged my feet and finally gave it a watch. I thought it was good, but not what other people make it out to be. The climatic hook of the film is pretty ****ed up.

I'm more that sure I've been spoiled the ending of OldBoy, I saw a chunk of it with a girl friend of mine but I don't remember why we had to stop watching it.

I saw till the dude just meets the girl, so It's a fairly easy conclusion.

I saw ISTD thinking it was a horror flick, I was disappointed at first but the disappointment didn't last long, much better than having watched a generic Korean horror movie I too would give it a 9.

Btw: I-STD sounds like a completely different movie.

Chan-wook never intend them to be a trilogy but they are really powerful together.

Escape from Alcatraz - 9/10

Caught this on AMC in sixth grade. Despite its three-hour runtime with commercials, kept me on the edge of my seat. Great escape film.
