I really enjoyed it...wasn't 100% accurate to the book, but what film is? They got the tone just right though, and the visuals were beautiful. Also, Matt Damon and space is a winning combination for me.
Very cool. This is one that I will probably buy the blu sight unseen. Glad to hear it getting positive reviews.
If you like space and Damon, check out Interstellar. :)

The Intern. This feel's like Anne Hathaway meets Mr. Focker and Deniro steps in and does his thing and help's everyone and correct's the path they are on. I give a 6 pretty good ,fun quick movie.

I honestly prefer the two sequels by Paul Greengrass. The second one is my favourite, the car chase at the end is punishing to watch. Feels like actually being in an auto wreck.
I should be watching the very soon.

Yup. Great trilogy of films. I'd probably give it a 9. The sequels might be slightly better. I saw Legacy once. I thought introducing a new character was the right direction for the franchise as Bourne's arc is perfectly concluded in Ultimatum. But it fell flat. I can hardly remember a thing from it to be honest.

Did I hear a fifth one starring Damon was happening?
I also heard so, I don't know where they'll go though, are there more books?

I don't remember Legacy either, I can't say I liked it but I didn't like Hawkeye in the role :lol

The Martian. Nice visuals. That's about all I can say about it that's good. Ridley Scotts casting choices lately have been appalling. Kirsten Wigg. Ugh. No sense of Peril, too much of a jokey tone and not enough drama. 6/10 and that's being generous.

Too jokey? You clearly haven't read the book? It matches the tone of the book perfectly. I think Goddard did a genius job with the script. I also don't agree that this film didn't contain enough drama. It was drama from start to finish!

The second two films didn't follow the plot of the book at all. They can go anywhere. Honestly I don't know what they'll do. I thought the third was a perfect ending for him.

I've not read the books yet, are they Clancy-esque? I'm sure I'll love them when I read them.

The sequels are even more impressive if you're telling me they go on their own instead of being based on the book.

Turns out there are 11 books :lol I'm sure they'll find a nice plot.

I actually haven't read them. All I know is

Marie doesn't die.

So the course of the sequels is dramatically changed. I agree for being original stories they did a great job.

Also I think only the first three are by Robert Ludlum. I think Legacy, for example, takes place a decade or two after the events of three original books and still stars Bourne as the protagonist, not Jeremy Renner.

I don't agree with your numbers but I agree that they progressively get less enjoyable as the series progresses. Ranking RotK highest was a trend I noticed until finding this community. My opinion of FotR being best seems to be the prevailing opinion around these parts.
