Terminator 2: Judgement Day Special Edition

I'll be frank and say I've never been a fan of the special edition cut, which initially felt like it's dragging an already long movie to a crawl, but after revisiting this after many years, I think I might like this more than the theatrical cut due to the extended scenes giving more wight to the T-800's character development and also gives more space between the action scenes. A must see for those who've only seen the Theatrical Cut.

I did like Cameron showcasing Sarah's paranoia and prejudice of Uncle Bob, and the chip removal scene was a neat effect with Linda's sister.

Yeah, they're filming the next one now (can't remember the title off the top of my head...EDIT: Just Googled it..."War For the Planet of the Apes").

Ah great, thanks.

It's the ****ing theatrical cut I'd love to see again. I've forgotten what it was like.

Great White Shark neck, and afro :lecture

Soft details and terrible PERS eyes aswell. Although, it does one thing better than DX13, the head isn't 5 miles wide.

They might for all I know, but they didn't back when T2 originally came out on DVD over here, we only got the special edition. I never got a blu-ray because I...erm, don't have a blu-ray player. So maybe it is available.

The Martian
Excellent movie. I've always liked Ridley Scott and Matt Damon,
so, the two of them working together is just fine. The movie
is interesting. Splendid script & dialogue. Everything is great
about the movie, which was was an excellent book, BTW. The
set design is outstanding, too.

You can get the Skynet Edition blu ray for $5 which has all 3 cuts of the movie (sans the insignificant Australian and T-100 cuts), although you might be better off getting the 2015 print which has the previous special features ported from DVD and a different transfer approach.

We still haven't gotten the definitive T2 on blu ray yet, simply because the picture transfer isn't all that great. I always cringe at the "highly acclaimed" Skynet Edition that occasionally bugs out on my player and has horrible DNR (Digital Noise Reduction).

T1 had an amazing remaster few years back, and it looks absolutely jaw dropping but they used the audio mix from the 2001 DVD instead of the original Mono mix, which honestly ruins half the enjoyment of the movie. Oh well.

Oh c'mon, no way is it worse than Cars, Cars 2 or The Good Dinosaur. Though, TGD is not bad, just not very good.

Cars wasn't great, but it wasn't lazy. Cars 2 I never bothered with and nobody's given me any reason to. You're right about TGD, it was just... bland.

But Finding Dory was just rubbish, I thought it was one-dimensional, contrived and uninspired. My list of Pixar Dog's Breakfast nominations are:

Finding Dory
Monsters University
The Good Dinosaur
Cars
..and Cars 2 if I ever saw it.
