Accross 110th Street 10/10 this has got to be gangster movie i have ever seen, everything about felt real and the story was excellent, had me rooting for the bad guys

Rewatch:
Full Metal Jacket. 6/10

Its lost something over the years......very much a story about nothing.....like its a bunch a good scenes stitched together...even Jokers story arc is kinda predictable.

Love the Parris Island stuff.....

Watchin' Kubrick's films for story... That's cute. :lol
You could very well do that since they are great stories, but the novels on which Kubrick based his movies that I've read, are all better than the movie version.

His cinematography tells a story of its own though. Take Eyes Wide Shut for instance, that one got him killed for exposing the secrets of the reptilian elite, it's so obvious.

His best work was obviously the moon landing.

Eh, I'd rate the whole thing 10/10.
There's not enough films with just two acts.
The second one is great exactly because of how different it is, plus the finale is provocative.
