Gonna see that this weekend!RED: 9/10 Awesome, over-the-top fun and action! Out of the films this year, in this same kind of genre; like The A-Team and The Expendables, I think RED is definitely the best! I loved the action, humor and the characters were great. Especially John Malkovich's character!!
Just sit back, grab some popcorn and enjoy what you're being shown and you'll have a great time!!!

How To Train Your Dragon - 7/10 Not quite as good as Kung Fu Panda, but an enjoyable flick nonetheless. The flying sequences were great!

Insomnia 8.5/10 Nolan's weakest film IMO but still good.

Superman II Donner Cut -- 10/10.
So much better than the original. The plot was cleaner. Several wierd plot-holes were removed. The mother talk was replaced with Jor-El. The transformation back into Superman made sense. The goofy "tripped-over-a-pink-bear" Superman reveal was replaced by a much better "Lois shoots Clark" reveal. Got rid of the unnecessary stuff -- pink honeymoon suite, Eiffel Tower scene, stupid plastic cellophane "S" throw, disappearing/reappearing Superman in the Fortress, etc. Fantastic.
A couple of things I didn't like ... Clark beating up the guy in the diner still remained (Superman wouldn't go out of his way to whip some nobody's ass), Superman spun the world back around (which seemed unnecessary since he had already defeated Zod, and which made the diner scene all the more nonsensical [the guy wouldn't have even recognized him]), removed the "replacing the flag on the White House" scene.

Very derivative of Species, but a pretty good cast and generally effective.

A vampire/comedy/musical that is much better than a vampire/comedy/musical has any right to be. Nice cast, tunes that stick in your head, and some great supporting parts from folks like Alice Cooper, Iggy Pop, Henry Rollins and Moby.

I watched this the other week, and was quite surprised that I didn't hate the movie. Yes, it was almost a remake of Species without the hot Henstridge scenes.
