I think loose carts of Batman were much cheaper last time I checked but screw that, it's been decades and I still can't beat that game!

I'll definitely get a NES, SNES, and Genesis someday and mod them to run on HDTV but until then, I'm substituting by using emulators on a modded Wii, which can output the original resolutions of those consoles (240p).

Nice nice. I didn't realize you could mod them to do that! I probably won't because I just use CRTs for my older consoles. I'd use an emulator, but I'm an ***** when it comes to that sort of thing. :lol

And that reminds me, Batman Returns for the SNES was one of the games lost in the move. :monkey2 It's probably around here somewhere tho.

Aladdin (for the Super Nintendo) - 8/10

I've been wanting to play a good 2D platformer again, and I found this again while rustling through some games. It's such a charming game. The music and sprites are fantastic, and the gameplay is really fun. I might replay this a few more times before putting it away.
Meh, the one on Sega Mega Drive (Genesis) is way better.
Heck, all Disney based games are better on SMD.

Uncharted 4- 10/10.

I loved it. I'm a fan of the previous games though. The graphics alone are mind-blowing.

Probably my favorite game this gen. It feels so uncharacteristicly grounded and a perfect send off for the series.

Silent Hill (PS1)

Haunting from start to finish, with amazing sound design and psychological scares. Still an amazing game after 18 years.

8/10.

**Note that there's a widespread sound glitch when on playing the game on a PS3 where your firing weapons would ruin the sound of the game. It's unfortunate that this hampers the game by the need to constantly resetting the game.

Since I got a PS2 emulator, I plan on replaying Silent Hill 2 again. I've only beaten it once.

I'm going trough SH2 as well right now. You really ought to check out SH3, 4 and Shattered Memories as well since they're fantastic- don't be that guy who only played RE4 in the RE series! :lecture

I do want to play SH3 at some point. I've played a demo of SH4, but I didn't like the environments in it that I played. Although I did find the room itself creepy.

Yeah, while SH2 has the better story, SH3 is my favorite since it's actually scary and the gameplay is the best in the series. SH4 has the most tedious gameplay the series, but makes up with it by being the scariest. Shattered Memories is also brilliant, but the gameplay is merely running around town.

Overall, even the worst SH games like Homecoming has something to offer, so I'd say play them all of you can.

Berserk Band of the Hawk -- 8/10. The ending was meh, but overall I really enjoyed playing this game. I like just running around wrecking **** in a single player game, and that's pretty much all this is. :lol The storyline is great--even if it's edited and toned down compared to the manga--and it's cool getting to play a bunch of different characters. I think this is a game I'll pick back up every now and then to try out everyone on different levels.
