Statue Red Angel Comiquette

So SS is now making repaints of statues this is another stab to collectors. Come on at least change something on the statue. First comes killer ES sizes, then no ES statues on the big popular statues like galactus and hulk. Then the ex now mostly comes with useless tiny little parts instead of something exciting. And now repaints of as many statues as possible for extra money. Let's not forget the price hikes too.

i really dont mind abt repaint or Variant whatever ..... i will get only those whichever i like....... hope SS will come up with old comic Thor PF in modern costume just like greatwall modification & Spiderman Comiquette in Black Variant..........
there r so many collector who will buy these variants even if they having original in collection

Amen to that brother! They're making variants out statues that are less wanted. They are waiting to put out that Brown suit Wolvie'. They are going to unleash him with an ES of about 8000 and 3000 of those being the exclusive...

I like marvel, DC, star wars, movies, Video games, horror, Disney. At least these I still want. well at least I don't have lotr, bowen, bishoujo or hot toys.

As much as variants can be cool... Eg the Red Hulk is pretty damn awesome... I would think that another artists vision would make for a more satisfying experience for a wider population of collectors. For example why redo Thor or Spidey with the SAME pose when there are at least 5 more iconic poses for each that another artist could take a crack at??

I agree but you know why SS does it without me saying.

The main reason why variants bother me is that it takes up factory time that could be better spent on completing a new, unreleased character. We get countless delays from Sideshow on almost all their products. Scheduling variant production runs of the same character does not help with that situation.

That's why I don't like statues. Factory time better spent making Star Wars and G.I.Joe dolls.

I agree with you here. Although star wars is #1 for me, I also collect Marvel, DC, and Street Fighter...and then there are the customs.

It can be tough to focus your collection, although I have stayed away from LOTR at least.

Rotating your collection is another option if space becomes an issue.

The comiquette line has been fabulous. Angel is gorgeous, Punisher is grail, Daredevil is great, Nightcrawler is really quite good, Psylocke is WOW.

I'd still like to see some comiquettes. Modern Cyclops, Kitty Pride, Gambit... They should at least finish the line. Sucks though that some of the pieces are complete duds, Storm, and it sort of ****s up the line for people collecting, i.e. me

Maybe they should have gave him switch out yellow boots and gloves. Mix that with the 250 ES and you're possibly looking at something special here. I might just be in on this because of the ES alone.
