This is the breath of fresh air that Rockstar needed to take with the GTA/Red Dead series.
Essentially, this is GTA:Wild West but at times it just doesn't feel like GTA unless you really start to think about the gaming similarities.
Such a great difference though and so unique and fun as well.
Is there any way to identify the "better" horses by just looking at them? That's one thing I'm trying to figure out.

As I was skinning a coyote, my hungarian halfbreed decided to stroll off a cliff. Thankfully, I bought the deed to the horse so another one should be along soon.

That is the Kentucky Saddler. Sadly, I do not think you can sell horses.
Okay, well it was worth a try to sell if I could sell the KS to the shopkeeper at the General Store in Armadillo...Herbert Moon. Anyway, I guess I'll get into a shootout with some bandits and use the horse to block some gunfire. But I still refuse to shoot the horse myself.
Then I will call up my War Horse with his deed from my satchel.
It's just too bad when you get a safehouse that you can't get a "garage" (oh wait that is Grand Theft Auto, and you COULD have multiple cars saved. Or was that Saints Row?), or stable to save your horses. Then you could pick which horse you wanted to use after saving a game. Now that...would be COOL!

If anyone's interested in levelling up their multiplayer character for the PS3 version, I plan on playing the Pike's Basin gang hideout multiple times tonight for the experience (I average well over 2000 xp per session). I'll be online at about 7:00 PM eastern.

I found and broke one (giving me the Buckin' Awesome achievement) in Tall Trees, at which point a note popped up saying, "This is now your trustey steed". Then as I was trying to hitch my old horse, a stupid bear came by and mauled it to death.
I love the randomness of this game.

If we get 6 people, we could do the stagecoach of death. Two drivers and four passengers, all armed to the teeth. Too much fun.
So I bought a used copy of this game at GameStop..... I'm thinking about returning it though

Nice! Haven't been to TT yet. So I'm a ways out from getting that I think. I did break a Hungerian Half-Breed yesterday and am using that now. Fast as ____ too. God I've lost horses just riding around to Cougars, Bobcats, Wolves, Coyotes, and a boar.
Its random but funny as hell too.
