study sez if you got them tired eyes, look at something green coz it helps.

furthermore, broscience refer to green as something for the dirty mind...i.e.pornhub.

Should of added a 'PP' option to the poll...
Is it that good? :rotfl

I have no idea how many people are using the style I made, but I can't imagine it's very many. There's a link in my signature, but I don't post to that many threads for people to hear about it from me. Plus a lot of people aren't bothered enough by the default red theme to have gone to the trouble to change it. ;)

The new green theme is different than the one I did - the green is darker in the post headings - I used two tones of green lifted from the old forum and the lighter shade for the post headings. Plus the new theme has a green tinted background behind the forum which I think gives the pages a far too green look. My style is mostly grey, only highlighted items use green. Plus I kept a bunch of the default blue from the red theme which I think looks good for the menus and member names, plus links.

That said, the new green theme is a good alternative to the red. I'd make the following additional fixes minimum:

Green Theme:
Change the background behind the forum to grey
Change the minimum-width of the forum to 900 or 1000 pixels from the current 1144 (it still causes horizontal scroll bars for members with low-res displays)

Red Theme:
Change the width to variable instead of fixed (it's too wide for low-res displays and far too narrow for larger/high-res displays)
Change the minimum-width of the forum to 900 or 1000 pixels from the current 1144 (it still causes horizontal scroll bars for members with low-res displays)

Lot of words for a thread about colors.

It was posted 1.5 times :lol

Crap. Weird. Page reload error - left the quick-reply box open on the screen while I was editing and when submitting it seems it posted TWO messages. The pre and post-edits. Wow.

I Deleted the partial message.

i hate that if you clean your history it goes back to the red. I am not about to start changing it to green every time i clean it... :/
