They've run out of ideas.

I think it looks pretty cool, wel, the clip does, it might end up being completely retarded knowing how these movies turn up with some of the stupidest stuff going on :monkey4coughresidetnevil 3couh:monkey4

there might be something worse you know...
zombies riding motorcycles...

I think they ran out of ideas after the first movie...:lol

actually they ran out of ideas after the third lol
making the whole world a wasteland and a desert was one of the stupidest ideas ever like wtf

doesn't alice say that lakes and stuff dried up and the whole world was becoming a big desert? at the very beginning?

only to have it completely ignored by the 4th movie?

Sorry but making the series going into a global outbreak scenario is way better than what Capcom has done with milking every last "isolated incident" scenario in the games. I mean we are talking about a franchise where the viruses can infect every single living organism on the planet (humans, apes, dogs, horses, birds, sharks, insects and even plants) and we are supposed to believe that everything is just magically cleaned up at the end of each game with absolutely 0% chance of the infection spreading. We should have seen a game by now where half of an entire country is infected if not the entire world.

well yeah, in that you are right,
but, they made the world an empty desert with no water, and the in RE4 things are back to normal, that's what i hated the most,
they write a end of the world apocalyptic setting plot for RE3
but then in RE4 somethings like the sea are still okay, i just think they went too far with RE3vas far as the damage everywhere goes,

Actually--most of the time trailers don't use music from other movies, it's very rare.

Most of the time they use music from Immediate Music, X-Ray Dog, or Two Steps from Hell

I'm not sure what music you're talking about from Mass Effect, I don't remember hearing any Mass Effect music in a Harry Potter trailer. Most likely you're thinking of a piece from Two Steps from Hell that Mass Effect used and then Harry Potter used the same piece.

Rare? Not at all. It happens so often. Even films TODAY use music from scores that came out in the late 90's.

The music at the end is from Drop Zone.

ALIENS dude...Bishops Countdown was also used in this film from 2002.

Hell. Look at this list of music used JUST from James Horner alone.

It's not rare at all. It's actually frequent. Most movie trailers use music from film scores. It's usually the last 40 seconds that are a generic trailer music track.

I just checked. She did narrate that the virus didnt just affect human life but land (forests) and rivers and lakes were drying up ect. There was a shot of a world turning into all sand and whatnot. But it was still set in Nevada and in Afterlife the greenery we did see was on the coastline where the sea was still very much prominent and the cities we saw were all on fire and rubble so sand couldnt just magic there i suppose.

Join me if you will, in plugging your ears and going la la la and grasping at straws to make the movies work!

Sign me up :lol

Kinda thought they were gonna play that song Counting bodies like sheep in this trailer ?

Actually both shots of planet earth in Extinction show that the earth still has all of the oceans and seas. She says that lakes and rivers dry up and honestly that is what would happen when talking about in land bodies of water. People need to look up stuff like desertification, soil salinity and erosion and other global problems that can be caused by draughts and and the lack of planet life.

GREATEST POST EVER :goodpost::lecture:exactly:

Resident Evil 6 looks like its expanding the infected territory by a huge margin though :). I hope Leon and Chris share screen time as a co-op team on it.

Yes I'm looking toward to RE6 cause it looks like we are getting an entire city full of zombies as well as a large chunk of China being infected as well. Just don't like that it looks like they are adding in yet even more new game characters instead of bringing back olds one like the long missing Rebecca, Barry and Sherry Birkin.

Isnt Sherry in Re6? I keep seeing mentions of her in the thread but im not sure which one she is meant to be

Im liking how the games are somewhat getting ideas from the films. xD like Jill in ORC now Leon looking all manly.

For sure Ashley (who can't ignore her squeaky, annoying voice) seems to be in the trailer, but the other girl or soft voice playing during the trailer sounds like Sherry(an adult Sherry)
