It's clear that your jaded by your own opinion of the man and have some sensationlized idea about why others didn't like him. I'm positive that there were plenty white supremacists (not sure why you're using capitals for that term) and war mongers that hated him and I can asure you if they are those things they still do, but to overgeneralize and say that is the only people is extremely short sighted. It's quite apparent your opinion of Ali is formulated from a Will Smith interpretation of him.

:lecture :lecture :lecture

I would say his comment just as much an over generalization (not sure how you can OVER generalize something) as your initial comment was. (only his was funnier) :D

By using the word "almost" universally hated that discounts plenty of people. I'm not including everyone nor creating certain groups for the dislike of Ali. His comments however insinuates that no one hated him and if they did they were white supremecists and or war mongers. That is an over generalization because he's over simplyfying an evaluation of a complex issue.

Wofford, his comment was a joke. Get over it bud. :D

By the way, the comment I bolded is funny.

I dislike Mayweather because he's an arrogant prick. No other reason needed.

I just hope someone beats him before he has the excuse that he wasn't in his prime anymore. He was already going to retire after the De La Hoya fight, and watching that 24/7 build up show he was talking about how his therapists thinks he should give it up.

Is that Batman, Lex, and Jesse Jackson in the audience? :lol

yes it is :rotfl:rotfl:rotfl:rotfl

I don't think I'm a white supremicist, but I still hate mayweather. Maybe I am, I like white more than powder blue and purple

And did anybody else lose a little respect for Joe Cortez. He usually lets the fighters fight, but he was seperating them before they were even fighting inside.

hmmmmm...
A friend of mine who's father is a boxing trainer reckons the referee was 'bought' before the fight?!
Makes you wonder when every time Ricky went to work on the inside (which is where he gets some of his best body shots off), the fighters were immediately seperated. Ricky also had a point deducted for an indescretion, yet nothing was said to Mayweather who constantly tried to open up a cut on Ricky with his elbow all night! hmmmmmmmm......

Sounds like money might have helped win this fight.

D:confused:

I did see mayweather hugging Cortez after the fight. If mayweather was constantly turring his back to hatton, then what was he supposed to hit? plus, when hatton turned around right afterwards, that was classic hatton and made me laugh.

I had my suspicions, I mean how can you arrange, promote & fight in the same match & not have a conflict of interests?
