It could be anything. Declined credit cards, cancelled orders, just finding more in the warehouse. It happens. Also, you have to sign for it. UPS goes to your place 3 times and if no one is there, they send it back.

You are talking about the regular edition, right? The exclusive is sold out but waitlisted.

I guess time will tell, but we still don't know how many they are making/made. This is the regular. I am on the WL for the EX, but nothing yet.

Since the EX was 500, there's probably at least a 1,000 of the regulars.

The "at least" is what I am concerned about. I don't know what the ES is or if they even have a set one yet as I have not talked to anyone who has a Reg to see if it is numbered or just "limited". The low stock warning that pushed me to order it instead of waiting to see what my WL was going to do may have been a false warning if they are just making more of them.

Not that I care too much about ES, but it would be interesting to find out from anyone who owns a regular, if there is a number on the base or if it just says 'Limited Edition.'

I don't much either, I just want to know if they were really about to sell out or not. I already have a bad taste in my mouth over how they did the warning for the EX, now if I find out this was not really about to sell out I am gonna be twice as upset at them. I would have held out for a deal on the regular or gave my wait list some more time to convert.

Well, I'm not really sure what to think. It's possible there really is still less than 25 remaining. But, it's also entirely possible it was a fake low quantity alert. I just wish Sideshow was consistent, but I do know it's a manual process for them.

Well, I'm not really sure what to think. It's possible there really is still less than 25 remaining. But, it's also entirely possible it was a fake low quantity alert. I just wish Sideshow was consistent, but I do know it's a manual process for them.

You could order it and flex it for as long as possible then if your waitlist come through in that time, they will gladly switch it out for you if you call them.

I was on the waitlist for an Indy PF EX and got impatient and ordered the reg. for a lot cheaper through another source. Not too long after I received the reg. I got an email from SSC that my waitlist converted. I didn't see the email in time and I couldn't cancel it. Now I have two.

I wouldnt risk it, the same thing happened to Big Chap Maquette & Neytiri statue, they announced low quantity alert one time, few weeks later it's suddenly sold out.

Well I have until the 20th I think to decide and only get charged $20 fee if I change my mind. If there was really only 25 left it should be well sold out by then, and if not it will be suspect.

Oh, I already have the EX. Have had him for over a month, and he's amazing.

This piece is a must have if you have the space. I'm not a huge LOTR fan but love the bad guys and have this along with Lurtz and Berserker.

No way that is going to convert. I went on 2 or 3 hours after it went to WL and I still have not heard anything. It also sounds like SS messed up people who even ordered while it still showed in stock who put theirs in right before me when it still showed in stock when it was in fact already sold out. They really messed that situation up. Best get in on the regular in case they were not messing around with the low stock warning, although I think they were.
