My favorite laser sword fight remains ESB Luke v Vader but these other 5 battles are all tied for 2nd place.

TPM Obi-Wan/Qui-Gon v Maul
ROTS Anakin v Dooku
TFA Finn/Rey v Kylo
ROTS Obi-Wan v Anakin
ROTJ Luke v Vader

All the others are crap fights, especially anything with super fast Yoda hopping around. SW Obi-Wan v Vader while iconic, is rather silly.

But the best lightsaber v soldiers goes to RO Vader.

2. Luke vs Vader ESB

3. ROTS Anakin and Obi v Dooku

4. Emperor vs Jedi and Mace

5. Luke vs Vade ROTJ...mainly because of angry Luke and the music while Luke overwhelms Vader

6. Dooku vs Obi and Anakin ROTS

7. Yoda vs Emperor from the moment he walks in the room

8. Anakin vs Obi ROTS

9. Kylo Ren vs Rey and Finn

10. Dooku vs Obi and Anakin AOTC

11. Qui-Gon vs Darth Maul (Tatooine)

12. Obi vs Grivous

13. Jedi order vs robots, monsters, and Jango Fett

14.. Yoda vs Dooku AOTC

15. Vader vs Obi ANH

Am I missing any fights?

Man that Obi v Vader ANH is at best completely cute when they take their little side-steps and stuff but boy it's cringe too.

Does Vader vs Rebels count? If so it has to be among the top ones, man that was a cool scene.

Personally I always hated Anakin v Obi Wan in ROTS. If Vader v Obi Wan in ANH was boring, this one was the complete opposite to the extreme. The definition of over-the-top CGI overindulgence.

Definately went on for far too long, lava tower and lave floats almost ruined the whole thing...that and Hayden's acting.

But that music sure sounded awesome.

i used to love watching the BTS of ROTS just to hear Williams and George bicker.

V. Vader vs. Rebels (RO)
VI. Palpatine vs. Yoda (ROTS)
VII. Kylo Ren vs. Rey (TFA)
VIII. Dooku vs. Anakin (ROTS)
IX. Dooku vs. Yoda (AOTC)
X. Jango vs. Mace (AOTC)

Neither Dooku duels do anything for me. The badly done compositing of Lee's head on the stuntman's body in both instances is just too phony and cartoony looking. Worse than RO Tarkin.

It was 2002. They did the best they could.

With ROTS it looked much better for just a few years of advancement in CG.

AOTC I agree but I felt their duel in ROTS with the windows in the background with the fighters flying around was cool looking and had great energy.

Yeah the giant space battle screen saver behind them did look pretty cool.

But the saber battle was intense, great line by Saruman.

I did like that bit of music right after Anakin beheaded Dooku and was regretting his decision. Sounded very ALIENS-ish. It actually sounded like Williams borrowed from ALIENS another time with the music that plays as Grievous was doing that spider walk thing to his cycle.

I believe that's the only fight Qui-Gon won in TPM. Still, Door>>>Old Obi in ANH.

Yes, the PT cops too much flak for being CGI-heavy and doesn't get enough credit for advancing the technology. Same goes for Ep II being shot on digital.
