Curse you for posting something that made me teary eyed. Now regardless of how good the CGI was that final scene will always mean that much more now that I'll always know that it gave Carrie her last bit of warm fuzzies associated with the saga. Bravo Gareth. What a sendoff.

Rogue One is passing the domestic earnings of ANH today. Sunday it will pass TPM to exceed all SW films save TFA. Not bad Disney, not bad.

While my kids seemingly enjoyed it The Secret Life of Pets was one of the most boring animated films I've seen in recent memory. And. Yet. It. Beat. The. Trinity.
By the time the theatrical run is over, Disney will have the top 5 highest grossing films of the year...globally.
At one time, Lucas and Spielberg alone had the top 5 grossing films of all time.

My son also liked Pets.
And in a few years all those spots might be occupied by Avatar sequels.
Sad enough that cartoons basically rule the roost. Cartoons no one will remember after they turn 15.
But yes, if Avatard 2, 3 and 4 break the top 5... it will be ultimate sadness.
And yet, somehow fitting of the new Trump world order.
