Larry Ward the original voice actor for Jabba the Hutt was only 52 when they recorded new dialogue for the added Jabba scene in ANH:SE. There was no excuse not to hire him again. The only possible way CG Jabba from ANH:SE and TPM could have ever felt like the one from ROTJ would have been if he had at least sounded the same. But looking completely different AND sounding completely different? Not even the same character anymore.

SE Jabba is an Abomination. And an embarrassment. It was 4 years after Jurassic Park's T-rex and they gave us that for Jabba.

It truly was mind-blowingly bad.

Makes me wonder if we'll see a fully practical Jabba again in the HS movie.

I liked ROTJ:SE the best because the changes were the most subtly integrated in that one and didn't really call attention to themselves.
