He is too old. Yes. Too old to begin the indoctrination.
Was I any different when the 80's taught me?
He is too old. Yes. Too old to begin the indoctrination.
A long time have I read kara's posts. Always his mind on what movies will be relevant in 10 years. Never his mind on what's in theaters. Hmm. What he was watching. Hmm. Relevancy, heh. Lack of disposability, heh. A Star Wars fan craves not such things.
Yes Jye Kenobi, much different.
- 3 Superman movies separated by three whole years
- 2 Star Wars movies separated by three whole years
- 2 Swamp Thing movie separated by 7 years
- 1 Howard the Duck movie
- 1 Masters of the universe movie
- 1 Punisher movie
- 1 Supergirl movie
- 1 Batman movie
Now compare that decade to 2007-2017.
- 6 X-Men movies
- 6 Iron Man movies
- 5 Transformers movies
- 4 Batman movies
- 4 Spider-Man movies (played by three different actors)
- 4 Harry Potter movies
- 3 Star Wars movies (just in the past three years!)
- 3 Avengers movies
- 3 Thors
- 3 Captain America movies
- 3 Hobbit movies
- 2 Superman movies
- 2 Fantasic 4 movies
- 2 Guardians of the Galaxy
- 2 Ghost Rider movies
- Ant-Man
- Deadpool
- Dr. Strange
I'm sure I'm missing some.

As far as I'm concerned it's:
80's:
ESB/ROTJ
Last 10 years:
Cap trilogy
RO
Everything else from both of your lists can be ignored.
Ah, so Khev finally abandoned the Force Awakens. About time! He must sense Hayden's arrival in Episode 8 . . .
And RoboCop should be on the 80's list. Best superhero movie ever.

Hayden Christensen, Gay Luke, I'm cuttin' and runnin' baby!

And Boba flailing about in the background was his Rogue One moment.Vader's RO scene was taking out a bunch of useless grunts, so with that in mind I would say the skiff scene is Luke's RO moment. Like his badass force kick.

Christopher Nolan's father must've been 2nd unit director that day.

I was about to say, do we really need anymore SW in our lives after that RO Vader scene and updated cgi rebel space and ground assault with walkers and OT characters.
We can live without more Rey, right. We're good, our SW needs are now complete, no?
But then I remembered that Luke still has his RO Vader moment coming!
Yup, after that we're good I think Khev, what say you.
