IMO the Leia CGI looked fine in the theater and on my flat-screen.

I caved and bought the digital copy off of VuDu...I also have RO Blu-ray on PO.
What can I say? I couldn't wait!

I didn't buy digital at first either but now I have a lot of movies on my VuDu account.
It doesn't hurt that I get digital codes from my library, where I work in the evenings, whenever we buy new movies for circulation.

how do you decide what movies to get to the library? who decides that? does the library people know that library users might be ripping the movies to their computers?
what happens when a movie is too scratched to play anymore? or is broken ?

I talked big a few days back about how paying full price for a digital download 12 days before the blu-ray would disrupt the space-time continuum but in the end I figured...what the hell. Watched it twice already. The Saga is home.
I need 3D RO... this coming Tuesday?

Watched it a third time at home now. *Damn* this movie holds up. And honestly I don't believe those crappy pics of CG Leia posted earlier even appear in the movie. She actually looks pretty good on film.
How freaking tragic that the weapon Galen begrudgingly agreed to complete ended up nuking his own daughter. For whatever reason I never really dwelled on that aspect of the story as it pertained to him.
I also found it interesting that never is Vader referred to as "Darth Vader," only "Lord Vader." Even Tarkin calls him that. Now that I think of it it was really just Ben and the Rebels that called him Darth Vader in the OT wasn't it?

The library gets whatever is current and we get a lot of DVD & Blu-ray donations from our community.
Our library director decides and asks for our, library clerks, opinions.
Were not stupid. We understand that patrons might be doing this...but in this town I highly doubt it.
