I refuse to believe Trump is a SW fan.....

He is more like the guy at the water cooler who thinks RO is the sequel to TFA and keeps asking questions like....."Where is Chewbacca and R2d2"

As far as force abilities.....its been pretty well established the greater the feat the greater the effort and concentration.........

Also, I have always thought you couldn't use the force from limbs that were severed. This is a weird thought I know, but it would explain why Vader cannot jump or run fast. Also why he has the use his human hand like the Infinity Gauntlet when using the force....he must have to have a focus for his rage or something.

I dunno.....but its pretty obvious that Yoda/Palpatine are exhausted every time he does some great feat with his powers.
(The pillar that almost crushed Anakin, the Senate booths, the x-wing, and on Palp's side his last battle before becoming a prune.)

I still think thats the whole point of the Sith. What they really are is a Parasite. They can over use the Force without getting exhausted or drained because they draw extra power from the life force of their slave/student. So long as that person willingly gives it. Palp's power seems to grow exponentially right after Anakin subjugates himself.

Same reason Snoke uses Kylo and will want to use Rey. Same reason Palp's wanted Luke he knew he was more powerful that Vader and wanted to use that power for himself.

One small problem. Anakin doesn't have a human hand. Both are mechanical.

But overall I get and agree with what you are saying.

Vader isn't more powerful than Anakin, that's been established in the films if we go by abilities and skills. He's not stronger as Vader.

However, he still has most of his Jedi abilities, with the exception of using lightning because he has no hands, and wears a mechanical suit which has a certain weakness to lightning, which I read was implanted by The Emperor as a precaution to take him out easily....guess it didn't work in ROTJ :lol

As far as feats in the films, Yoda has the best ones, from lifting Luke's ship to lifting that big object that was going to crush Obi and Anakin.

That's it, those are the two biggest Jedi feats in the films, and in both cases it required a lot of concentration and effort, so clearly the powers are very limited, but I still think Vader could have used his abilities more effectively in RO...like keeping the door close...it's not even that hard...it's a single door.

But if he concentrates on the door than he's not concentrating on the threat of a dozen soldiers.

Well, he was standing there in the dark for god knows how long. It wasn't until he turns on the lightsaber that the soldiers attacked him.

Still, it takes that much of an effort to keep a door close? It's visible and within his reach.

I've seen Vader choke people on other ships while he talks to other people because he can see them, so he can multitask.

I'm not saying that Vader should be able to freeze everyone like Professor X and just walk up to the guy and take the disk, but I feel like he knew that there was clearly one guy going for the door because he has something important, then maybe choking him before he gets to the door or keeping the door close is within his capability, imo.

But for the story to continue forward he would eventually have to fail at "something".

What would you have him fail at?

That's a very good point and I didn't think about that.

No matter what he does, he can't get the disk because it has to fit with ANH.

I will meditate on this and come back with a satisfactory explanation that doesn't involve him tripping and falling down or his cape getting caught on the door.

Ok now I'm scared that Trump is speaking before the Vader in the tank reveal..anyone else see the cruel reality in this..admit it :monkey4

I wish Trump was speaking during the part where Krenic was being choked by Vader or when Cassian shot Krennic

The memes would read " Get the hint Donald " :lecture

I do think they should've added a quick 4 seconds of him trying to close the door and then being distracted.

How does Darth Vader ***? Anakin atleast had his left hand (and Padme) for a time, but what does Vader do in his meditation chamber when he gets those twi'lek girl on twi'lek girl urges?

Does Vader even have a **** or did that burn off on the lava slope too?
