I watched these videos the other day and they gave me a new way to look at the PT... It's why I am watching them again right now..

Then watch RO right after. I'm curious as to how it plays after watching the PT, especially with Jimmy Smits appearing, but I just don't want to be the one to test it out myself. :lol

Have we sunk so low in our attempt to be counter culture what we are actually going to say AOTC > TFA.....

Come now guys , what were you smoking before posting that load of silly words.

The Di Fabio in me knows Disney bought Lucas out to make load and loads of cash , homogenizing as much as possible to please as many as possible....

The Khev in me believes that in there, is a sliver of creative power that can ignite a flame of story telling which may prove to be worthy of canon.

The Wor Gar in me just wants to watch it all burn.....

And the Clown in me just wants to talk about Batman.....

I am not going to say AOTC is better then TFA but it does feel more like a Star Wars film to me then TFA does.

Hmmmm....

Have to sleep on this:

TFA good acting and sets but weak action.
PT horrible acting and bluescreen but memorable action and music.

I don't know...The Falcon escape and the snow fight are just as memorable as anything from the PT.

ROTS saver duel just went on for way too long over really bad lave droids. :yuck

Wait...wait....did you just say that you are currently enjoying AOTC?!

I have to strongly disagree about good Sets on TFA... What good sets?? Back yard sets... Yes. Good Sets... No. Just because they tried to use real locations does not mean they were good sets.. The Alien Bar sequence felt more like Star Trek Next Generation then SW.

Again I am watching AOTC after watching everything great about AOTC youtube... That and after years and years of hating the film and bitching and slamming it I find that I set the bar and expectations so damn low I can't help but enjoy it.. Turns out it's not the worst movie ever made... :lol

Lol TFA cast.

:lol Post of the year so far... Btw I hate General Hux way more then Jar Jar.

No one should say this. I resolved myself never to watch it again. I am ok with ROTS....but there is no need or excuse to watch AOTC again.....you can skip it entirely and you will not miss anything.

You can fill in what happens without being subjected to that mess of dialogue, bad cgi and terrible acting.

AOTC is the worst of the series and I will not defend it... Just saying that I find that I am enjoying right now in the moment due to the reason I listed above.

Then watch RO right after. I'm curious as to how it plays after watching the PT, especially with Jimmy Smits appearing, but I just don't want to be the one to test it out myself. :lol

Let me see here..

Rey = Val Kilmer Top Gun snapping his teeth at Cruise.

Finn = Cuba Gooding Trank

Poe = Chong from Cheech and Chong

Hux = Angry midget

Ren = Keanu Reeves

Han = Steve Martin

Remember those movie posters from the 70's/early 80's that would show the cast in little boxes at the bottom of the poster? They totally should have used the images of the characters above on a TFA poster in that style. :lol

Yeah I can agree with that, they really were very bland sterile sets, Maz's planet and bar, the resistance base and even Jakku (cool name though) was Tattooine lite.

Luke's Saber just show up in an Alien Bar.... Just because.

This is funny. Makes it sound like a cheesy role-playing game that kids in the 80's would play.

"Okay I have my character walk into a bar."

Gamemaster: "Make a perception check."

*rolls dice* "75!"

Gamemaster: "Okay, you were some weird screaming coming from downstairs, no one else seems to notice."

"I investigate!"

Gamemaster: "Okay, I didn't really have any adventures planned under the bar but um, go ahead and make a Search check I guess."

*rolls dice* "DOUBLE ZEROES!"

Gamemaster: "Wow. Let me check the Random Item Table. A double zero is a...holy crap. You just found Luke Skywalker's lightsaber!"

"Awesome!!!" :rock

Gamemaster: "That's like an instant 2 million experience points. Damn."

"Sweet, I rush out to fight the main villain!!"

I forgot to comment on this...

Come on Jye.. Duel of the Fates and Pod Race are both better then anything TFA has to offer. I also thought the Federation / Naboo space fight was more interesting looking then the attack on the Star Killer base.

I do agree that the saber duel in ROTS went on too long but still more memorable then TFA duel IMO. I actually really like the Dooku and Anakin duel in ROTS and think that it's one of the sagas best.

Again it does not help that Jye was so good at everything and Kylo sucked at everything. Especially being a son :lol

Join me... Let the hate of TFA flow through you :lol

BTW you already mentioned it but yeah the Music in the PT is so much better then TFA. However I do find that TFA slightly edges out AOTC score. Jye theme is better then anything Clones offers in terms of new themes... One of the things that really drives me nuts about TFA is the opening SW theme.. It's so weak. Listen to it again. The big Bam when the SW words hit the screen and the following part that sounds like utter confusion.. Like a high school band... Now once the main theme starts it's not so bad... But the 5 or 10 seconds.. Ugh... Interesting thing.. that piece was not conducted by Williams for this film so perhaps that had something to do with it.

Yeah Anakin v Dooku was cool simply because Anakin looked so bad ass.

But I can't just start forgiving the PT because of some memorable elements.

TFA for me feels like a real movie when comparing it to the wooden PT.

Problem with TFA is that it has some PT moments in it. But like I have said it's the better movie... Just not the better Star Wars movie.. IMO.
