S.H.FiguArts Dragonball Z figures!!!

In the future (i'm talking decades from now) we'll prolly still have Figuarts, but I can see them upping the scale to around 10 inches or so. You know, just because. The detail would be amazing.

That'd be crzy to see, TBH.i wonder just how far they'll go with characters at this scale as well before shifting direction.

What if they made Dragonball toys/figures with "lifelike" skin? Humans/saiyans would be like silicone/human texture while Piccolo would be leathery (I don't know why I imagine him to be leathery) and Frieza and other aliens could be... strangely silky smooth but hard? 1. Freeza arc
2. Piccolo arc
3. Saiyan arc
4. Red Ribbon army arc

Yeahhh man, it's all good. I enjoy the entire series and all forms of Vegeta. I've said before he has the best development of any character in the series. But bloodthirsty Vegeta just gets me all

Skinarts, that's clever! I too imagine Piccolo with rough leathery skin [emoji1] and Cell's skin is more scaley while Frieza is a fine soft microfur and Buu is elastic and rubbery textured. Vegeta's skin is baby soft and nothing anyone says will change that [emoji41]

- You have the right to feel however you want. Don't care. Your tone doesn't relict any feelings out of me but whether or not I chose to respond... And yes reading a post about toys with a certain perfect of words asterisked out comes off aggressive. It's what it is.

- So your argument is that price automatically equals quality with absolutely no consideration into supply/demand, etc.? Also your right.

- For me, I get more value from a dragon ball figuart than a marvel legends if the figuart is $100 because I have more attachment to the line. Do I get more value for a mmpr figuart at any price? No. Because there's a certain amount of that value that's subjective. Of I were to literally look at things as what you get in the box for the dollar: a $20 Marvel legends venom gets me way more in the package than a $50 ssj vegeta. I'll even told things like the playmates tmnt classics line in there too.

- So maybe I'm collecting the wrong lines, but it's a bit jarringvto see the company that produces things like the start Wars black series, transformers classics through rts, and masterpiece (unless that's Takara) automatically associated with junk? What the ****?

Quality automatically equals price, absolutely. Tamashii has the high quality and uniqueness of their products where they're able to take control of the market, as market leaders, and set their prices that include 1.) covering their overhead and 2.) gaining a profit. There are a lot of collectors who buy Tamashii products BECAUSE THEY'RE TAMASHII PRODUCTS. They have a reputation to strive for and they're upholding it quite well.

I'll stop arguing if that's how you truly feel...

I buy them and feel comfortable even with the DBZ figuarts that they'll be quality just because of the standard set... I don't think I wrote anywhere on here that they aren't quality products... have I? If so, by all means quote me. Beauty of a message board is that it's all right here.

I was just referring to the fact that the core of this back and forth is labeling these into either toys, figures, dolls, articulated plastic, what have you. I think it's been pretty well established with facts and obviousness that we can all agree that Figuarts among other figure brands are high quality collectibles and not toys. All I'm saying is that there's a clear difference between children's toys/action figures and collectible adult action figures. You wouldn't call a motorcycle sports gear even though it's similar to a bicycle now would you? Or perhaps I should compare a Little Tykes tricycle to an adult all terrain mountain bike? Tis all. Please let's just drop this or just agree to disagree. We're all adult collectors here (mostly) so let's act like them and move on

- Already gave my points to where i feel Marvel Legends are of said quality fairly in depth. If you choose to, pages later ignore those points that's fine, but it doesn't mean that they weren't said. And in terms of "indisputable" it's all subjective, because there's nothing indisputable that you can give me arguing for the case of figuarts or let's be realistic in stating that you already would have rather than all of this extra-curricular bs that is still ongoing.

- I have to conscede on the implying that Hasbro is junk thing, because whether the post was deleted or I misread something, it ain't there now so it's irrelevant. No problem recanting that. But in fairness, why did you dodge where I asked you to quote me to turn around and ask the same of me?
