Yeah, makes sense because of the extra shipping and VAT, etc.

Man this piece is beast. Hard to decide between this and the Dark Rider as my main piece.

I'm not sure why they decided to go for the glow effect though. Surely the cheaper safer option of a light up base was the way to go.

We never actually get to see him in this pose in the movie anyway, not beside lava.

At a hefty 2 grand all up I think I'd get divorced....

Also the Dark Rider fits in a Detolf where as Sauron would have to be put at the front door guarding the house....

That Sauron helm is gorgeous!

But it's not quite 1:1 though. It's human-sized. If it was really 1:1 it would be Sauron-sized, which would make it twice the size of a human head. Sauron was 10 feet tall, after all!

Instead of getting 20 statues in a year, my collection of LOTR is almost completed and it's easier to only get a statue at 1K.
