Man I want to want this piece and may end up getting it if my LCS can do me 25% off but I have been less impressed with this one in person. Not sure why. It isn't the pose really. I think its the armor, too flat and plastic looking. Granted this is an improvement over the black with silver dry brushing seen on the Weta piece but still. This was also what I disliked about the Boromir maquette, which I sold. I think they need to use some inks to give this some weathering.

I don't know how anyone couldn't be impressed with it. Even if you're not gonna get it this is one of the coolest LOTR items ever made IMO.

The one at Comic-Con this year was production. So I don't expect to see anything that much different on the ones we get. So if you liked it from July you're probably going to when it arrives next month or vice versa.

Those pics look really good. I'm waiting for in hand pics and reviews, which I hope will be great. Size and cost are the two biggest things keeping me from flexing this literal "bad boy"

Once my last payment on Conan dio is done then I'll seriously consider it. I'll only flex one piece at a time and it's usually the big ones.

That's pretty damn good for a production piece.

That overspray was toned down significantly.
Now it's even more appealing than ever.
