Do they? I would think by the time we get them and complain it would be too late to do anything about an error. Same thing kind of is going on with my 89 hot toys batmobile. Lots of problems with packing marking up car, and I was in the second wave and they did not fix the problem until way after.
It depends how long the waves are in between but I've definitely seen cases of SS fixing things in later runs or at least acknowledging the error and offering a refund before it's sent out.
Put it this way if it turns out bad you have the option of a full refund without the hassle of receiving it.
You'll be waiting on the low stock number anyway so you should be sweet.
