BINGO!
Exactly. Sauron is about all that is left alive within 100 square miles. The scene is a quiet one, with only the hiss of escaping vapors and the deep rumble of Mt. Doom many miles away. The silence of the dead is "deafening", and Sauron's body language reflects the dark mood of the piece.
A change-out upraised right arm ( within this context ) would be out of place and would appear forced. If a change-out was provided, it would have to be subtle, but probably not worth doing cost-wise.
Now a change-out light-up ring arm with it's own battery power source would be very cool, and would perhaps be the best reason the make a change-out arm with a slightly different pose, but again, would drive up the price, but would be incredibly cool!

Ok, let's try this one last time shall we?
A]. The 'one ring' prominently featured pose has been done before, and rather well I might add.
B]. There is a background story behind this painting [as there is with all paintings], and as Jerry has already clearly stated....the 'one ring' featured prominently, or Sauron exhibiting some kind of menacing pose wouldn't make any sense to the overall composition of his artwork. The advantage of being an artist is that it gives one the 'artistic licence' to create and portray a character in a manner they see fit, in accordance to their vision.
We, as the viewer can either agree with the artists interpretation, or disagree....and the choices are rather simply. If you agree with Jerry's vision and the execution of his artwork, then buy it. And the same holds true for the eventual PF.If you don't or cannot appreciate what Jerry has done, then save your money. But if anyone thinks SS is going to dramatically alter the pose of the PF at this time I'd say you are sadly mistaken.......if they didn't alter the pose of the GTG maquette, one which has featured significantly more 'pose' complaints, they aren't going to do it with this one.
