This is an easy repaint too if any problems arise...blacks, grays, silver are easy...even yellow,orange,reds(Fire/lava) too...at least easy for me anyway...This will be a grail for some...

This is a beautiful statue I dont care what anybody says...I liked the SDCC photos...IMHO Unless someone makes a 1/2 or 1/3 scale piece this is it!...However there is nothing wrong with owning the Weta piece...If that is the only Sauron that one ever owns they should be totally happy...This piece is special to me and may possibly be my grail....end of story...If I dont like it I will Repaint it myself.....Grats to those who will get this...grats to those who own the Weta version too.....Peace

Great job adolfo, looks fabulous. One suggestion I do have is to either get rid of the glow effect on the skulls and bones on the base or you need to add a slight glow effect on his lower legs and feet to match that reflection.

Great job adolfo, looks fabulous. One suggestion I do have is to either get rid of the glow effect on the skulls and bones on the base or you need to add a slight glow effect on his lower legs and feet to match that reflection.

It still looks like Mordor to me. Bones and armour have been painted with a dirtied up effect. They coulda been dead and charred there for 7 years when the siege of Barad-Dur began for all I know. I only darkened/dirtied them up a little. I won't change it. A little subtle orange doesn't hurt IMHO, but I had to darken the base and make the ashen earth look darker. I also find that the darker a base the more the main subject on the base pops. No freakin way I'm gonna add any glow to Sauron himself. Unless it is done by an electric light shining up at him causing the glow. That's it

Has anyone attempted to put this guy in a besta unit yet? I have the height, the product info has it at 12"D but I'm a little concerned about the depth with the mace and all.

I think its better than the RWOS PF. Not that you're losing by just getting that one. Probably just not updated that little bit on the product page. Could be they're taking off orders to finish off the run of this piece.
