Be it a PF or a LSF...this thing looks huge.

It's going to be pricy LSF or not.

I'll be surprised if it will fall within my budget.

However, it does look fantastic - doesn't it.

Never understood this 'thin' or 'chicken leg' stuff. Having seen the actual armour created by WETA and used in the films, this should be the same build unless they add an artistic 'machismo' to it

The base and armour details are going to make this something very special though.

Sauron is huge, remember him towering over everyone, and this looks like it is in scale with the rest of the PF line.

PLEASE, Sideshow. Put me out of my misery already.

Just tell us one way or the other what format this is going to be and how much it's going to cost. I'm dizzy from making assumptions in both directions about whether I'll be able to buy it.

Why do you toy with my emotions so? I have far too delicate a constitution to endure this kind of trauma.

I wouldn't go busting out the champagne yet. Just because a production video has PF in the title doesn't mean a whole lot. Proof reading doesn't always seem to be Sideshow's best attribute - just look at all the errors that have occured with the info in the production peeks before a pre-order. Sauron has been classified as an LSF in a couple other places.
Believe me, I'm hoping this comes in as a PF. I'm just not betting on it.

It had been labeled as a LSF before, but I think that's why they pulled this video they had up from last week. It said LSF then, now a pf. SS finally came to their senses . Too bad we prolly won't see this at SDCC though. Looks like the sculpt is barely done. Hopefully the ex is switch out sword and mace.

IF it's that scale, it's still going to be huge. Doesn't matter what they label it, it's going to be expensive because of ths size.

But it does make a huge difference if it's labeled a LSF or not cause all LSF's are $2k. Even as a pf, this will for sure be $1k-1200, but that's better then 2k. It will be as tall as the RWOS, but is so much more detailed. This is 1/4 scale like the rest of the line. RWOS, WK and Sauron pfs all lined up

That's a great teaser. You can actually get a good look at the item. Some of them are two short or don't have long enough shots to see the sculpt.

I'm hoping you're right. I would definitely be interested if the price/flex payments are manageable. Right now my top priority is The Dark Rider - everything else takes a back seat. Unless Sauron is actually farther along than the video shows, I don't see him going up for pre-order any time soon - so at least I don't think that I'll have to worry about the conflicting payments.

I would LOVE to own this piece. But I'm really torn now.

After months of disappointment I had finally accepted the fact that this was an LSF and well beyond the reach of my budget. I don't have the space and I don't have the money. Disappointing, but a clear-cut decision.

And now they may have changed their minds? It may now be a PF again? An expensive one, to be sure, but surely cheaper than an LSF.

Problem is, I still don't have the room and I still don't have the money! But now it seems attainable! Even though it would be the least responsible decision I could make!

I agree this is great news for us all if it really stays a PF. I noted the armor looked sculpted so I am guessing we see a fully sculpted piece with a cloth cape to make it a PF vs say something fancier armor-wise that might push it to be an LSF piece. Still, two PF bad guys like this? Seems the calendar is off because they are cannibalizing sales. Not everyone can afford both this and the wraith PF even if they wanted both. Could be a ratcheting up of product to make a splash at SDCC with Hobbit-mania in the air.
