The trailers didn't dampen my enthusiasm for this movie at all. I hope this movie delivers as well.

Same, I was very supportive at the beginning.

But unless this is some effectively deceptive marketing campaign to lower expectations, it's looking like it'll be another dumb and poorly made anime adaptation.

First teasers were Villeneuve-ish, good scene selection, nice score, good cinematography and cool transition effects, plus, little to no story hints.

The more action and story we saw, the more apparent it became it was just the usual Hollywood stuff.

Gotta ask though, is the release date worldwide ? Or just in some countries.

I hope they do special popcorn combos for this movie. If they do some sort of hologram cup with the Major on it it would be so damn cool.
