Doesn't matter, the 1995 movie is leagues better anything the manga and the SAC series is, I doubt the creator has any input of value, if anything, this will be exactly in the spirit of the manga and the SAC series.

Can anyone answer me this one thing? In the 1995, I'm thinking nobody has ever referred or addressed the major by her Japanese name (Motoko Kusanagi). I think everyone just called her the major and that's it. I'm thinking that was deliberate cause of movies' themes.
