I went to see The Expendables today...but immediately after it ended I wished I had just spent the money to see Scott Pilgrim again. :(

I hope we atleast get a scoot pilgrim vs the series. That short was awesome.

I watched it today and I absolutely loved it!!! :rock Best movie of the year for me, nothing else comes even close. An instant classic!

it really makes me sad that this movie is doing bad at the box office :monkey2

I'm trying to convince friends and family to see it. So far progress is like this:

Plasmid303: "So, there's this awesome movie called Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. It's very awesome. You should see it."

Friend/family member of Plasmid303: "What's it about?"

Plasmid303: "Well, uh, it's about a 22-year old slacker named Scott who plays in a band and falls in love with a blue-haired girl who has seven evil ex-boyfriends that Scott must defeat before he can date her. It's like a romantic comedy with martial arts and video game stuff."

Friend/family of Plasmid303: "What?"

Plasmid303: "Yeah, I know. But it's actually really funny"

Friend/family of Plasmid303: "I dunno. Sounds pretty stupid. I think we might just go see The Expendables or Eat, Pray, Lov----

Plasmid303: "Why do you hate fun?"

And it goes on for another 10 minutes, and every time, I'm sure if I convinced them or not.

i get that all the time from my friends too, so i tell them when they finally see it when it comes out on blu ray, they gonna say i was right about it and they should have seen it in theaters

on a side note i havent seen expendables yet cause everytime i go thinking im gonna see it, the lure of scott pilgrim gets me and pulls me to see that instead

Went and saw it this afternoon - and sadly I walked out of the theater thinking it was just ok. It was entertaining and I thought the performances were good but it just didn't capture my interest as much as I had hoped it might.

Saw the movie again, and it's just as much fun a 2nd and 3rd time. It's definitely my MOTY. Unfortunately, the Academy doesn't care about my favorites.

Perhaps it may get an award for it's music. It had some really great songs, Black Sheep, The Clash at Demonhead's song is totally awesome. It's a shame the movie version is only available on iTunes.

With shipping, it comes to $10000010.94. Can't they be like Amazon and give free shipping to orders over $25? :dunno

I watched this on PPV the other night, bought the DVD the next day, the soundtrack that night and now I"m looking into buying a time-machine so I can go back and see it in a theater (with the other 9 people).
One of the best movies I've seen in a long time.
