Well with a take of only 5 million this weekend for a total two week take of a little over 20 million, SPVSTW is officially being called one of the Summer's biggest disappointments. Such a shame, as with all great works of art it looks like this movie is misunderstood and unappreciated in it's time. oh but look! unoriginal garbage like Vampires Suck makes over 12 million

I too wish the film had made MUCH more at the B.O.....but you now this will make a KILLING on DVD/Blu and become an instant cult classic

I saw it enjoyed it. I think that it's one of those movies that's trying just a little too hard to be hip instead of just letting it come naturally and effortlessly. Lots of stuff I'd seen before, blended together in a fun and energetic way. I'd give it a solid B.

finally saw this movie Saturday night and i frickin' loved it. it really did capture the spirit of the comics while offering it's own take on it, a perfect combination really. i lived many years in the LA Hipster scene and i would say that this movie made all the right jokes.

i need to see this movie again!
