I just realised what I'm not going to like about these figures no matter how great they are. Same thing that bothers me with all 12" figures that are not fully clothed. Exposed joints. :monkey2 Since hobbits wear cargo pants and have no boots or shoes the ankle joints will be exposed.

I know, I know, I sound like a snobby statue collector. :eek: :lol
 
Exposed joints have always been the bane of 12" figures, at least for me. In this case, I can certainly live with it. But perhaps a rubber or elastic type of covering over the exposed joint areas could help?

I agree with you. That's why I have zero interest in a 1/6 scale Slave Leia or Aayla Secura in the Star Wars line.
 
I think exposed joints can be fine as long as they are painted. Usually what ruins the look is when you go from a painted hand into a smooth and shiny plastic wrist.

I think with the new female body Sideshow could make a pretty decent figure of Slave Leia or Aalya as long as they go the extra distance and paint the bodies.
