Amazing collection Chris. How come no accessories on a lot of these guys though? Seeing Thor without his hammer and cap without a shield is driving me crazy haha

Thanks. Thor and Cap have their hammer and shield, they are just not holding them. It is mostly a space issue and also I don't like a lot of clutter lying around.

Chris Rankin out museum poses even me. Great collection.

:lol I have OCD so everything has to look the same (and it saves space :lol) This is only my Marvel figures, I also have a load more in another room so I need to try and preserve space where possible and I am rubbish at posing anyway.

I wouldn't call that museum poses. It has became such a loosely used term.

Would prefer to call the below as museum poses. The setup does not matter, it's the poses that makes a difference.

Great collection, James! :clap

I'm not sure what you meant regarding when you quoted Bjjer's post of saying that "Chris Rankin out museum poses even me" and said that you wouldn't call CR's poses museum poses and would more characterize your poses as museum poses, but I think that was the point Bjjer was trying to make.

Your poses are museum to subtle action poses (which is essentially how I have mine as well), but being that CR's are all posed in pretty much the exact same pose with the arms down and no accessories, I think Bjjer essentially meant that CR's are pretty much posed as static as you can get. :lol

At least that's how I interpreted it.

About to put all my boxes away, so figured a group shot would be interesting...

My first thought was, "Holy crap that's a lot of Chitauri!" Then I realized they're in front of a mirror. That's how you instantly double your collection!
Ryan

That was my initial thought as well. :lol

Then I noticed the "two" Hulk boxes and was like, "Oh, nevermind."

Yeah that's pretty much it. My collection looks more like the one JamesXGZ posted(but a little less action poses). The complete static, stiff poses of ChrisRankin is on another level though

Hi SilverStar17, yes what I meant was that those static poses shouldn't be categorized as museum.
Maybe I had misinterpreted Bjjer's post :lol

Unfortunately the vast collection of figures in Detolfs does not belong to me i was just citing an example of a fellow collector whose display would be better termed as 'museum'.

Avengers - Almost Assembled!
Also got a soap reactor for Iron Man & Thor and I got to say that this is a must if your figures need batteries.
