Thanks for the positive comments! :hi5:

Sadly, no Hawkeye yet..
Avengers version is too pricey for me, but I will be ordering the AoU Hawkeye (as well as Scarlet Witch and Vision) as soon as funds allow.

I have AoU Cap on order from a U.S. toy store via eBay..
Got it about $20 cheaper than ordering from Sideshow directly, but I'm not sure when it will ship.

ahh cool, he is an Avenger :lol :hi5:

Well, I've been working on a giant 44" diorama base the last week or so. Finally finished it so check it out and enjoy!

step 1: gather and measure packing foam

step 2: dip foam in plaster, dry, then paint

step 3: display and sit back!

this is what gave me the whole urge to do this project. After seeing the Toystrike Smash Kit for $50 + $25 s&h (and the inevitable customs), I was like, "screw this, I can make a traffic pole" and found a $3 plastic pipe at Home Depot to bend and paint.

Just need my AoU Cap to come in damnit!!!

I thought there were problems with putting weight on the die cast bodies with making them float? Or is that the Power Pose with a TS open helmet sculpt?

Hm I think the problems are with putting the diecast bodies on a dynamic stand. I'm using the regular stand there plus being buried under the foam doesn't allow the base to move

And thanks everyone!

Like with them falling over?

From what I remember it was a risk of pressure points from the clamp cracking parts due to the weight... unless it was just theoretical risks/worries.
