I was going to pick up a pair of matching Veyron's, but they just don't have enough room for groceries.

And I was going to pick up a Lamborghini Veneno but they just don't have enough room for my five modeling girlfriends clear.png Actually I had never even heard of the Veneno. It was just the first model that popped up in auto-fill when I was typing out Lamborghini lol

That looks like a lot of fun, like to color too. I see a lot of yellow and orange ones here in SoCal.
Does it have a Toyota motor?
Yes, the 1ZR-FAE (1.6L).

Both nice. Anything special on the Bond version?
It's the same colour as the DB10 in Spectre (exclusive to that model for... a certain period of time which I think has now expired), the trim is "inspired by" the DB10, it has a couple of 007 badges on the outside, the gunbarrel stitched into the rear seat divider and 007 branding on the sat nav / control screen. Althougfh it was never officially stated, it was basically the consolation prize for people who really wanted a DB10 but weren't prepared to pay £2.5m at auction for one that can't be used on the road :)

Would you ever trade one out for something else? Porsche? New C8 mid-engie Corvette?
I actually did a "hypercar challenge" thing a couple of weeks ago and loved the Porsche 918 I tried. They're all sold out, now, but I'm looking out for a successor to it :)

I see a lot of 458s on the road here too. Great design and engineering.
It's a beautiful car and a lot of fun, too. It's the only one of my own cars that has actually been out on a track (although I have driven other Astons on tracks) :)

And yes, see those around too. SoCal has a car car culture (Kustom Kulture) like no other place. I once saw 3 lined up heading up to Mullholland Dr. What octane fuel do you need? There are places in L.A. that have as high as 110, usually for racers (street or track).
The Veyron needs 98RON or more. Our standard is 95, which is available anywhere. 98 is easily available in built up areas, but here in Middle Of Nowhere, UK, only the big chains have it and they're not as readily available.

I know you were being silly with that, but it's actually a valid point. The Veyron's luggage capacity is so low I have to choose between luggage or a passenger. A friend of mine got married last year - he loves Astons, so I suggested I could pick him up the day before the wedding in the Vanquish and drive him to the venue. He asked instead if I could take the Veyron. I said I could, but I wouldn't be able to give him a lift.

He went with the Veyron :)

Then the photographer screwed up and took the pictures of him and his best man in front of the car so close you can only see the windscreen :(

Some SWEET rides in this thread, I have been looking into getting a jeep for over a year now, finally got it yesterday and just the way I wanted it to. 2017 Willy's Wheeler Wrangler

Very nice, congratulations. Go out and get it dirty.

I'm looking forward to seeing the new Jeep truck, though I could do without the 4 doors.

Thanks very much, I'm looking forward to it:hi5:

Yeah That could be a winner, cool concept for sure, not sure if it will catch on.

Here's a 2 door version, not sure if its a go...

That is awesome! Car and family history. I love it.

Thank you guys so much! I am so happy finally being able to enjoy the car! I highly recommend the switch to Holley efi vs a carb, really increased overall drivability
