Yah, lots of stuff. Switching over to serpentine pulleys too. Hopefully one last big round before the eventual Tremec upgrade. Sometimes I question my sanity doing this.

Hey porkchop! Yeah serpentine is so much better than v belt and the tremec.....well that and fuel injection were game changers for my ride

We got my wife's car for her back when I posted about it and yesterday I signed the papers for my new baby. I have never been happier to welcome a car into my life. So many cars today have tons of features. And when I looked at the Porsche Macan, it was STACKED! And I thought, ooh that's nice. Then I remembered and reminded myself why I loved the Boxster so much, even with less buttons to push, and no back seats...I felt like a driver in that car. Not like a person who needed buttons and to lug things around. I started a new job, I have a new car and I am very happy. It ships to me tomorrow and arrives on Friday. Only thing I didn't get is the upgraded rims. I decided to add the $ in places I knew I couldn't add after, like 14-way power and PDK. Rims can come later cause the stock ones = eek! For a gal who's always loved upgrading her cars, the rims hurt me. Haha. It's okay though, it won't be long before new ones are on. I didn't want a special color, I wanted black. I wanted her sleek, simple and perfect. And for me, she is. :)

Well, we work hard for our lifestyle so why not enjoy it, right? :) Thank you. I love it so much.

Congrats! :clap

Congrats! :clap

:) Cheers.

Nice new Porsche! Congrats for sure!

Thank you. I actually drove the Tesla X down the PCH in it until the Exotic car place delivered the Boxster to me and took the Tesla in its place. It's a long story of why that all went down, but it's cool. In my opinion, the TESLA is a far superior vehicle in every way I can think of. I cannot even express the experience driving it. However, the moment the Boxster was delivered to me, the feeling I got while driving that car could NOT be matched or measured. I knew that it was the car for me. And so, I bought one for myself.

Nice. When presented with a choice, always go Porsche.

I agree. And when you do finally go Porsche, you know for sure you will never go back. I almost wish we didn't buy the Infitini a bit ago so we could buy the Macan. Alas, too late.

Very nice, my wife and I talk about getting a two seater and the boxster is at the top of the list.

Congrats and enjoy it.

Enjoying a car is the reason to have one, in my opinion. Just an all around perfect experience when you feel good in the vehicle you have.

SilverStar, do you ever experience ANY rain? I have not when I'm in LA but who knows once in a blue moon. If you have, how does the soft top keep the rain out for you? I just re-arranged my garage so that my car can fit in next to my gym equipment for the days it sucks outside.

Oh okay I thought you had the 5 speed already. When the time comes if you have any questions let me know. I'm going to be upgrading my headlights and taillights on Friday....and finally hook up my speedo.

Oh yeah for sure, I'm going to switch to h4 bulbs and install new relays and run voltage to the headlights direct from the battery....for the taillights I like the digitails led kits, they're really nice and way bright

Well headlights upgraded and LED taillights installed....thanks mobile tech lucky, such a great dude. Drove to redondo beach for a car show yesterday and surprisingly the chevelle did not enjoy traffic, humidity, and 108 degree weather....took the fast track each way (I wonder if those cameras can get pics of old black plates?). Anyway, made it safe and sound but now I'm thinking I'll drop the coin for a griffin or be cool radiator instead of my jegs radiator

Pics of your lights please, I'd like to see them. I have a Champion 3 core aluminum radiator, made a big difference for my motor. Dual electric fans. I no longer have any overheating issues to speak of, but this current weather is definitely above ave.
