Yah, that M can make all the difference.

My dad is up in Mountain View and when I visit him and walk around the neighborhood, there's a spot where two of those are parked side by side, one blue and one silver. The blue one is an M and looks the part.

You're in the Bay Area? This is a great area for cars. If you haven't gone to Canepa Cars and Coffee before, go next month. That place is INSANE.

Buffy you'll fit right into Cali with that tesla.... :peace:peace

Yeah, only problem is they are saying around summer NEXT year for people like me (I ordered in April 2016) which means that's not going to work. I'm going to need to get the Tesla X, instead. So I'll be ordering it and cancelling my 3. :( Or keeping my 3, too. Haven't decided. I went yesterday to discuss the X so I could make my decision on purchasing it. And I have always loved it the most. It was just dependent upon tax incentives and business expenses. So far it's all A++.

VERY nice!

I'm in LA, father in MV. If I get the opportunity to check that out sometime I'll definitely try.

It's worth it. They have over a billion dollars on-site. That last car, the Ferrari, could be the most valuable car on the planet.

One of the GS Warriors owners showed up at a local car meet with his holy grail 1969 L88 Vette. He also owns one of the 1963 Grand Sport Vettes that ran Le Mans...and he drives it on the street. [emoji15]

He said he was going to bring the Grand Sport to the Los Altos Corvette Show late this summer if you want to see it. It's a $10M Vette.

Still very cool.

I'd take any one of these, including the Daytona.

The stripped car is a 275 GTB/4 which I believe they sold for $3M after the restoration. I'd take the 275 LM since that's the last Ferrari to won Le Mans. It's hard to estimate the value of it, but maybe $100M? A "regular" 275 LM sells for $15M or so.

I'm not a big fan of the Daytona myself. I'd rather have the 288 GTO behind it.

My favorite is the 275 GTB/4, is I had the means and want that would probably be the one I'd go after.
The GTO has a classic sporty look and I've always like'd the Daytona.
I respect Porsche, but given the opportunity I'd probably always look at the Ferrari.

I used to run a Porsche shop that raced and modified mostly Porsches, so I'm biased towards them in general. The F40 is still at the top of my list, and the 288 GTO is right behind it. The GTO has a lot in common with the F40.

I have a good friend who has a 1963 Ferrari 250 Lusso, so I get to experience the classic Ferrari from time to time. My buddy's Lusso is in the picture.

^^That's a beautiful car!

My wife and I went up to Monterey for our anniversary a couple of weeks ago and someone was towing a '69 Alpha convertible south when we were on our back in a very similar silver color. Looked like a lot of fun.

Yeah, the Lusso is a gorgeous car for sure. It's a piece of automotive art. Most people don't have a clue what it is, or they think it's a "James Bond car". I think the DB5 is ugly compared to this car. The cool little bumpers, the awesome dash design, etc. The owner gets more attention in his Audi R8. I expect I'll be seeing the Lusso on Sunday when we're having lunch.
