Sideshow 1:1 Full Size Hulk Bust Discussion

The classic comics Hulk was never 4x the average person and I think that's what this sculpt is based on.

I never liked the movies' oversized Hulk nor do I like the pin head/steroid look they give him in the comics these days.

Actually the more I read the more I like the bust. I always thought the hulk was a great euphuism that pent up anger can be powerful, dull our IQ and ugly to an extent.

So, yes I'm a Kirby purist.Even if i'm born in the 70's.

Altough classic too, Buscema's Hulk to me always looked too much like Bruce Banner but with an angry face.He wasnt monster looking enough to me.And he was so f'n dumb.

He was a s*it kickin' brute.

Like I said before, Kirby was king but never cared for his Hulk.

Gotta agree with Woodsy.

It seems like most of the older Marvel pieces from Sideshow had better art direction. Somewhere along the line they lost sight of that a bit. It felt like you got more bang for your buck back then. We still get it now here and there but it seems fewer have that "WOW" factor.

Nowhere is this more evident than the dio. line.

Much appreciated, I don't think I'll ever sell as to the thought that I would never have anything like this in my possession, my father said that he's been grown out of comics since he left for the service and that I can do whatever I needed to be done with them... I truly hold on to greatness though, even whenever it comes to my Sideshow pieces, very few will ever leave my hands!
